Hands down one of the best movies of this year.
From soundtrack, visuals, cast, director… this movie is a masterpiece
Of many years, I'd argue.
Yeah, no, this was definitely not a S tier movie of this year
@@mcashy6535 why
This year? Try this decade.
I read Dune probably 50 years ago, and, luckily, didn't see the first horrible movie version. I look forward to seeing this one, though. Thank you for making a tantalizing trailer!
it's like the book. A bit tedious.
@@carlosandleon you don't know what you speak
@@andrew_tate That's what everyone in denial say. I've already backed my opinion in various threads. I'm not doing it here.
Have a good day sir
I don't think I've ever heard of a movie totally satisfying people who have read the book, but this beats the hell out of the crap Disney has been barfing out.
@@mtnman1984 This ones sure satisfied me at least, (or 90% honestly, some scenes should have been included)
And the difference between Dune - or any Villeneuve movie for that matter - is that it's made with love, care and charachter.
The entire film is gorgeous, Denis' films always look freaking spectacular with those long panorama shots. The most impressive scene to me was where the worm attacked the spice harvester, the entire sequence. It honestly brings me to tears s little bit, it's so beautiful.
Saw it at IMAX. It was incredible. Sound design, cinematography, use of silence, dialogue, acting. Everything. Might have to go see it again
This should have been the official trailer. Well done
this movie is a dream 🤩🤺🥷🏿⚔️🔥
explained everything you needed without words.
Movie was to short… should have been 12h long.
It should be a series
@@djmaus7909 It will be. There's a part 2 coming.
What a masterpiece!!
Just got done watching yesterday and wow, it left me speechless. Everything about this movie is a work of art! Im so fucking excited for part 2 I can’t wait!!
Villeneuve's Dune - A stupendous and astounding work! Made even more outstanding by your limiting this to imagery without acting. Not one actor's face is included which lifts the scenery and action to a new level. Thanks for this!
If you had to describe the new Dune movie in one word, it'd be "grandiose".
Stararm > Beauty Of
You pick literally that best shots over what Beauty Of & he's not even doing single films anymore...
ohh god, may be DUNE is the most epic and different movie I've seen in this decade.
Best movie ever.
Just say....Paul the one artriedis ❤
Best movie of the year imo!
I love this movie
My favorite film of all time ❤️
This was quick
The thing has been on HBO for 2 weeks! And "available" elsewhere online for over a month.
What are you talking about? lol
Best film since inception
Why Dune is a masterpiece? Because of all crew knew what they are filming. And Danny put some scenes, that going against the book, like Peter De Vries on Salusa Secundus. Usually book fans are ripping apart those Director who are making such a violation. But in that case - everyone loved this. Is it violating original plot? Yes! But is that scene awesome? Ten times yes!
Exactly.
Edited to fast, soundtrack forgettable, story was nearly non existant, shabby cgi in places, sets where boringly minimal, ended abruptly, don't understand the love
And you never will
