It's a shame that it doesn't look like the strongest shape
Was fooled to think this is another wonderfull Infra episode
I love your videos bro, keep it up. peace love and bridges
I was chuckling all the way from start to finish..
Just don‘t buy it. Even the first pc is over 500€ more expensive than selfbuilt. Max. +150€ BUT NOT 500€
"Congratulations. The October labor lottery is complete. Your name was pulled. You are now janitor in a nuclear power plant. For immediate placement report to Ministry of Electricity in East Gretsin. Glory to Arstotzka."
😂 October lottery in may? I feel MAYbe it's a scam.
Glory to Arstotzka.

True engineers maintain nuclear stability by boiling the kettle ☕
The kettle is obviously part of the cooling system. The tea it makes is hot in more ways than one.

There's a german documentary about a old soviet nuclear power plant in Bulgaria from the 90's. The condition of that plant was something like that. It seemed that I would just break at any time
@@roteruebe9919 Got a link?
I did an aptitude test once for the role of pilot with the RAF. One of the sections of the test was exactly like this. Worst thing was, you didn't know how well you'd done until the end of the day, when you got your results.
aye the CBAT, absolute bastard that was. Was nice being in Cranwell though
This is definitely "Keep talking and nobody explodes" vibes
yeah, i would love to see this game with multiplayer, like 2 man co-op with more panels? It would be much more fun I think than playing solo.
it's like Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes, except there's no instructions and no friends
@@Sharleee Spaceteam is a multiplayer game that has some similarities to this
This is definitely Spaceteam vibes
Reminds me far more of Don't Touch Anything
As a nuclear reactor, I can confirm that I do indeed explode if the water kettle does not boil.
ah thank you for the information sir nuclear reactor
I don't know if it says something about me or amount of people posing as experts on internet but I only noticed u claimed to be nuclear reactor and not nuclear physicist after I read first reply.
One would think it would be the opposite
its just like a real job. everything is on fire for some reason then you have to do paper work in the middle of everything. and you'll get in more trouble for not doing the paperwork than putting out the fire.
so true!
Boss: Forget about the fire and fill out the forms!
You: But it's burning me.
Boss: I don't care if your clothes are on fire, I want those forms done in 5 minutes or you are truly fired!
@@skilz8098 its burning the forms
This is exactly how operating a reactor was like in the Navy.
Brother nuke!
Pain?
3.6 roentgen, not great, not terrible.

You always find the most fascinating games that I didn’t even know existed. Love watching all your videos and seeing what new things you find. Always entertaining!
Nearly freaked out thinking this was finally the last episode of Infra hehe....
It'll be good training, though.
same
Have to admit I lol'd several times during this.
This is basically TROLL The Game.
One of the few cases of a game being more fun to watch then playing myself.
Well done developers, never would have thought of this.
I tried level 10 a bit ago, and even using CE to slow the game to half speed still managed to fail.
After seeing the thumbnail I thought it will be a part of infra 😅
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined 😣
Yeah
CMON
I like the implication that if you don’t complement your colleagues that they will actively sabotage a Nuclear Reactor.
Among us reference If the imposter threatened the reactor if he didn't receive a compliment
The Simpsons taught me that all you need to run a nuclear plant is a drinking bird toy to tap the Y key.
Mr burns would really like this system and Homer would hate it
Yes, that's exactly how it works, as you can see from the video :) He's just pressing keys.
@@MrGtagangster as a programmer I could easily automate that game

Isn't that every video?
@@brandonsattizahn4443 I guess technically you're right
@@zohaibtariq7351 I mean it has great art work and probs to RCE for actually making it interesting to watch
Boiling a kettle has nothing to do with how a reactor works but is a necessity to operate this reactor so I’m guessing the boss just had it put there so he can have a constant supply of hot water for coffee and tea without him needing to wait for it to boil.
"Homer had to save Springfield from a nuclear meltdown"
didn't that happen multiple times?
It did, but it was only one episode where it was the main story plot.
"And I find it ironic that for once Dad's butt PREVENTED the release of toxic gas..."
"Bart!"
Take a shot anytime RCE says "boil the kettle"
I don't think I've ever seen Matt so stressed lol, give the man a donut!
"i play game to relieve stress"
the game:
seems like you might benifit from turning the power overclocking as the level runs through
“Shit in a sock” is among my favorite things Matt’s ever said! Also just discovered that I really enjoy watching frazzled Matt, he’s quite chaotic in a good way.
There's also a while simulator with graphs and data, for the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, made by a builder of nuclear power plant training Sims. You'll have to be an almost expert to fix it, cause you can control every valve and fuel rod. It's made by SimGenics and it's their RMBK 1000 simulator that's free
This reminds me of the old EGA game called purple Saturn day. Brings back lots of memories.
this is like a test for a new candidate for employment, how they deal with stress.
Story time with Tyler!
Growing up, I lived very close to a working nuclear reactor. (Several actually, but only 2 generated electricity.) While in Boy Scouts, my troop got to tour some of the facilities, including the training sim. At the end of the tour in the sim, the guide told us we had 5 minutes to cause a meltdown in the reactor. All the boys started going nuts, flipping switches and pushing buttons. Thing is, they were just activating safety systems and shutting it down. I was the only one looking for what buttons would override things and flush coolant.
Long story short, there are a lot more buttons that for safety than there are to blow it up.
As a nuclear power plant operator, I'm excited to watch this!
I was hoping this was more like a simulator other than a "simon says" type game :(
@@philthy5690 There aren't really any realistic nuclear power simulators out there, besides one for the MS-DOS.
@@R421Excelsior yeah ik. Kinda disappointing lol
Do you by chance know of any good power plant sims?
@@NoName5589 no, I was hoping this would be one lol
Its funny how safe and easy to deal with real commercial reactors are compared to this... Unless said reactor is built on a fault line or designed to explode when the emergency 'don't explode' button is pressed. Then maybe they aren't so safe
Or if you put your emergency generators to power the "remove water from the basement" pumps in the basement where the water goes when it floods lol
00:00 right now... what a perfect timing
I used to be a nuclear engineer in the United States Navy and even a veterinarian threatening my cat (her name is Chimichnga and she is adorable) wouldn't make me want to become a plant operator again.
Navy: never again volunteer yourself

I would love to see RCE as a real cheeky burocrat in Papers Please
Oh, yes, he HAS to play Papers Please.
0:41 a small peek of how our engineer looks
I love how RCE was doing the green ones before the yellow ones LMAO
I see your testing your skills early before sorting out the nuclear reactor in INFRA!
I’m pretty sure this game originated from a OperaGX Competition or something like that, I distinctly remember playing this for hours on the browser. If that IS the case I’m glad the developer was able to release it on steam!
From the title, i thought this was Infra, when is the next episode coming
Haha great video good job you have that hard hat to hide the hair you pulled out on this one, very entertaining thank you
"I can't see the numbers. There's too much bacon." hahahahaaaa
Is this the true ending of Infra? Lol
one of the best for me, love to see this newcomer nuclear enginner stressful😂
Looks like you weren't paying attention to the center indicator very much. I regularly watched you chasing various yellow things while you had a couple red ones obviously indicated on the center.
As someone that actually operates in a control room, steam pipes rupture, alarms go off, refrigerant from 30 tonne chillers leak, water in boiler steam drums swell and set off high and low alarms. Just gotta stay calm.....
hearing Sh*t in a sock was the point where I thought... I need to see you do more of this. do I care if it stresses u? nope. is it funny? frick yeah. do more
When you failed I saw the timer at 592/600. So close for your first attempt!
The most relaxing game I ever saw
said no one ever ;)
Oakflat nuclear reactor simulator was a blast to play when I was younger.
The soundtrack to this should be Tori Amos' "The Happy Worker". "Pull the lever, start the engine, pump the water, build the pressure, push the piston, press the button, it's the perfect job"
Probably the hardest thing on earth: sell a prebuild to a computer nerd
-"hey! here is a PC that is more expensive, less customisable, and without the fun of building it..."
Damn that's like prebuilt legos XD
As a former nuke worker who used to dive inside the fuel and suppression pools at nukes, I would have loved to get paid what the janitors made. Folks mopping the floors inside containment made more money than I did diving inside the reactors.
It's kinda like a mix between 'Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes' and 'Among Us'.
I too am scared to boiling kettles, imagine an aluminiminum ketle boiling, hot spicy metal and fused glass slag !
"Peace, love and nuclear explosions!" I mean, thanks? I guess?
At first I just read "I became a Nuclear Power Plant!" Lmao
That 4:20pm bit seriously confused me for a moment, legit thought it was an ad! 😂
I had an interview today for an AutoCAD position, I really am going to be a fellow engineer!
"i became a nuclear power plant operator" basically you become homer simpson!!!
I thought this will be about infra
But this is even better
I got a fun game called mindustry a d it's a game that you mine ore you battle ai bots and you must expand your base it's very fun and of course for engineers
This reminds me of an old mobile game called SpaceTeam. It requires multiple players so I didn’t play it very often but basically each player is cooperating to maintain your spaceship during flight, each player’s phone has a set of “controls” like buttons, switches, dials, etc. and a bar near the top that displays your current objective. Each player’s objective corresponds to adjusting one of the controls but they might not be on your panel. So everyone is scrambling to adjust their stuff while trying to communicate the tasks with each other so the other players can do their tasks.
"every once in a while your coworkers will distract you" "fuck off mate"!!!! 🤣
It's like that game "don't press any buttons".
I see this as the next episode of Infra, Matt just got to the reactor and this is what he has to do to get the girl
fellow Civil engineer, may i suggest you make a video on the game parkitect, sure it may be an architect's game but you can use your engineering skills to make the most profitable theme park.
I really like that Dance Dance Revolution thing. So nostalgic 😂😂😂😂
Excellent video Motorway Matt!
This reminds me of my own job you can never catch up you’re always behind you just juggling hoping that most of the balls stay in the air
This is so funny how creative these games get that rce finds. 😅 Also this exactly how ppl imagine working at a nuclear plant.
This looks cool, I used to have a nuclear reactor game back in teh early 90s its on the web somewhere now, was very basic but was good.
Your content is genuinely amazing! What a legend!!
"They asked me if I had a degree in theoretical physics. I said I had a theoretical degree in physics."
You were surprisingly good at that
The calculate the formula one made me laugh so hard 🤣
This is like a combination of "Keep Talking and No One Explodes" and "Please, Don't Touch Anything".
Lol. I wish a reactor operator job is that simple 😅
ye
This feels like it was translated to English.
Otherwise, as a nuclear engineering student, I can confirm that this is what nuclear reactor operation is like.
Anxiety attacks guaranteed.
This was great fun to watch!
If every character wasn't just copied from old memes, I could easily be convinced that this was a Lucas Pope game.
The “Plant” manager lol
"What's the fricking 'dance dance nation' or whatever its called?"

This is the best video I've ever watched. I couldn't stop laughing
I remember playing this on gx games! such a great and stressful game...
This should be called "Anxiety: The Game."
I like this game, looking forward for an second Episode.
Can you try a game called TheoTown next; Mat? I think it will appeal to your engineering instincts very well🇯🇲
Come on. Homer can do this while eating Ten boxes of donuts and still get a nap in before his shift is over.
I see he's practicing for the final level of Infra 👀
That was exhausting to watch.
You could say, that Video was quite energetic.
I'll see myself out.
This reminds me of that typing game Nerd^3 made a few years back. Similar premise.
With the numbers one it counts down and it says the max is 7000 so you can set that one in the 6000s and then not worry about it for longer.

It is an engineering job where you sit and press buttons. its a called stationary engineer degree lol
1:14 But if you use code "architect", you have to pay 5% *MORE* .
The style of this game kind of reminds me of 'Please, Don't Touch Anything'
