I came back from a 2 month KPOP break and the first thing I saw today was Nayeon doing the comeback dance challenge on IG. The moment she smiled, I got shocked after immediately noticing her iconic bunny teeth are gone I admit I am making a big fuss out of something small but I MISS IT MAN. And yet, even if she was missing all of her teeth; she'd still be my bias anyway 💙
She is actually gorgeous with the new teeth, she lost the innocent look but she is looking much more elegant and mature now, it’s a different vibe that suits her current age
She's not only changing her bunny teeth, but also the rest of her teeth. Now, all her teeth are straight. Straight teeth doesn't always means pretty and healthy. I saw a lot of actress got their teeth straight, and the result not always good. Sometimes it ruining the actress visual, because the teeth appear to be more shine and big, it takes away the focus from the whole face to more focusing on the teeth. Actually, I'm afraid that Nayeon might be addicted to PS/changing her body part. Since she already doing several body part changing, and now she choose to change the body part that become her signature and charm. It's kinda a red flag, I wish she's not addicted to that 🥺
It's jolting to look at. I still am not totally used to it. There is a consensus that it looks strange cause all her teeth look bigger and it makes her look older which is a bit of a concern because she's already the oldest. But if you see some of her more recent videos she still looks pretty good.
She looks great in any way, but I won't judge her since it was her choice, it doesn't matter because she's rhe one who sees her self in mirror everyday not me

But as of late we see Dahyun getting invited to Michael Kor's events in NYC to huge western fandom and popularity; not to mention the fact she looked insanely out-of-this world stunningly immaculate (which I think is a pretty big deal as she's getting invited by the man herself, I know Nayeon has had Tommy Hill Finger and Mary Claire campaigns but have not seen any of the members other then Sana and Chaeyoung getting invited to big marquee fashion events like Dahyun). I wonder if Nayeon or her team felt she needed to change her teeth in order to look a little more main stream for western audiences or if she felt the bunny teeth perhaps gave her an immature look??? If we look at the last few videos she wasn't featured at the beginning. In the latest video Set Me Free who is the opening visual? Dahyun which is really surprising considering previous videos you would never see her as the opening, perhaps she's getting push now from JYP? This would be amazing as I am a Dahyun stan as well. Anyway this is TWICE TINFOIL hat stuff not news so don't quote me. I am basing this off my CASUAL observance of timing with of events lately happening with TWICE. Anyway I hope she doesn't go off the rails with the plastic surgery and such. There are plenty of examples of celebs going way too far with it not too mention the immense pressure of Korean beauty standards which could also negatively contribute. Fair enough, I am sure you are not alone in this regard. You should have a look at her recent 'Set Me Free' facecam. Be curious about your opinion on her look after viewing that.
I think it's important to understand the medium you are investing your time in. 'To me' the K-Pop industry is primary a visual medium first. I always say "True music is timeless" so frankly the music in K-Pop can be largely forgettable unless they get some S-ranked producers (which have from time to time produced some bangers but will they actually stand up to the test of time? I in general think as of late SM's music catalog is a touch more timeless) Anyway, I don't think anyone is doubting that Nayeon is really talented. She's got a great voice and her dance choreo is always on point. But from that video when she first started you can see that she has got some work done on her nose, which is part and parcel of being in the K-Pop industry. You can't dismiss that this has been done for her career and medium irrespective of if this was her choice or JYP's. Sweet? That's assuming a bit much if you haven't hung out with them isn't it? I think her and TWICE have done some incredibly charitable things so this is likely more true then not... Just saying... in my experience super rich people are different.
