Hingis was world nr 1 at 15. Monica Seles was winning big WTA tournaments as 14. Just saying. But I´m a fan of every young ambitious person who aspires for great things! Also must commend Coco´s parents. They seems wonderful.
Coco was right the sky is not the limit.......there's foot prints on the moon....... So nice that some one like her and her parents are involved in tennis.... Thank you
Coco is a good young and up coming player, I don’t think she can go ahead to become the greatest female tennis player of all time. Serena has set the bar so high . If Coco can go beyond 3rd round in US open, then she has done well.
Win a Grand Slam and some major matches first then say that again. But its ok to dream. And then win more than 24 Grand Slams then you’d be the greatest. Serena is at 23 and still trying to break that record.
CoCo just lost to Naomi. She is only 15, and Naomi showed grace and sportsmanship in sharing the stage with her, seeing how upset young CoCO was, and knowing the U.S. Open crowd really wanted CoCO to win.
Child stop saying these girls are grounded and humble when they're still pretty much normal and haven't won any grandslams!! Venus is grounded and humble not coco!! #facts
When serena was 8 years old Serena was asked who would you like to be like? Serena replied I want other people to be like "ME" Could we have Imagined this statement coming true back then?

Toral Toral Maria sharapova is a good tennis player but her skill level isn’t as good as someone like Serena and this has nothing to do with any other tennis player
Cori (“Coco”) Gauff is okay, but has no real weapon. Taylor Townsend, age 23, who just defeated freshly-minted Wimbledon champ Simona Halep earlier this week, has the potential to be great like fellow lefty Martina (Navratilova) because of her attacking serve & volley game - only thing is, Taylor will need to drop 30 pounds to get there.
It is too bad, because Taylor is extremely talented. She is very fast around the court in spite of her size. Looking at the stats, it seems that she was serving and volleying big time again today. She might even make it into the later rounds.
It appeared that Ms. Townsend was struggling a bit in the 1st Set, not coming to net. But in the 2nd Set, she poured her serve & volley game on to secure her 3rd Round victory against Cirstea today Saturday, August 31, 2019. At this stage of her career, Ms. Townsend’s serve is still not as strong as Martina (Navratilova)’s was, but there is room for improvement. I would love to see Martina take Ms. Townsend on for some mentoring, given that Martina (sorry, Serena) is the all-time G.O.A.T.!

Who says you have to win grand slams? WTA players can become #1 and have no GS titles. Hell, Anna K. became super famous without ever winning a singles title.
You are correct, and to become one of the greatest you will have to hold several grand slam titles. Most people consider Martina Hingis to be among the greats and she has only five slams. Maria Sharapova has had a huge impact on tennis, but holds only five slams. But she was also among the youngest to hold these titles. Other greats hold seven or more.
@@swinde She is still only 15, anything can happen. She might just disappear or have 1-2 slams or end up having 20. Great achievement so far for her age.
She needs to humble herself and win one grand slam first. She got lucky and beat Venus now she is getting a big head. She lost 2 games first round. She beat Venus at 39 give me a break.
