1) For security reason, this is not the right way to access your home network from outside because the data will pass in clear text and anyone can find the password in less than 30 minutes.
2) You missed a step in this video because this router will not let you enter if you don't have remote management enable.
Remote management allows you to access your router remotely

Hi please assist,
For example I reset the router (TP-Link WR940N) then the gateway is gone when the router is reset how do I access it from out side the network to set it back up?
Because That will assist us with future call outs by clients

The issue I am facing is. Domain doesn't resolve outside my network at all. And it resolves sometimes inside my network. Its due to my browser not able to resolve my public ip address.
Port forwarding is working correctly.
The issue is public ip is not resolvable at all.
I ran traceroute. And it tried 64 hops with no results for the time.
