Oh wow this is very cool, is it prerendered or can it run live to any song? I am trying to find some algorithm or tool which is capable of live extracting features from audio in accaptable quality to make such visuals, do you maybe know of any?
Thank you!🙂 yes the audio signal processing and visuals run in realtime in Touchdesigner. For this video now, I used a bunch of mp3s as audio-file-in but you could also easily feed in any other external audio source (via an external soundcard for example..). Maybe take a closer look at Touchdesigner - to me it's the fastest to get some audio reactive visuals running as it is node based, doesn't need much scripting and there are a lot of tutorials..
