- In this video, I will unbox and test the TP-Link Archer C6U AC1200 wireless router. The c6 & c6U are effectively same routers with the U model having a extra single USB-2 standard port . This router supports dual-band Wi-Fi with speeds up to 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. It also has four external antennas and one internal antenna for stable wireless connections and optimal coverage. higher end routers come with 2 usb ports some even with usb 3 ports , but they are costly .

This can't improve the reliability of your internet it can just distribute it on wifi . The reliability will still depend on your isp
Sir c6u has 300mbps on 2.4ghz and c6 v4 has 400mbps on 2.4ghz.....does it it really makes a difference in download speed and mirror cast streaming movies from mobile to tv.....which one is better ? i have 1bhk house ...will 5ghz work properly cover full house ??
well both speeds are in bits (b)& not Bytes (B) so 100 will make some difference but as you have a 1 bhk house 5Ghz mostly will cover all area and you will not require 2.4G all together .
Hi Sir. I have airtel fiber connection in which a fiber patch cord is connected to the default router. How can I use this Router ??
Connect airtel fiber router with this router using a gbps lan patch cord & in this router add address of airtel router as gateway.
If this router is set in DHCP mode, which mode should I select in my ONU ? Route or Bridge ?? Should I disable the DHCP in ONU ?? Should I turn off Wi-Fi in my ONU ?? Pls reply 👈
Let your backbone main router manage all dhcp for this router if set secondary just switch off dhcp n add first router as gateway n dhcp server

you can connect a ss to it & use it as shared storage on network or you can connect printer to it & use as network printer .

if you want to use the USB 2 pors say for slow storage or network printer go for U else C6 is enough no changes on networking side .

Well range cannot be predicted as it will change according to your router placement,wall thickness n their position but while purchasing focus on number of devices the router can handle & the technology you want.

Hello, I purchased Archer C6 AC1200 V4 router on 12 August and started using my experience till today, router taking much time to starts working as its web/internet led takes much time from orange to green. And as in between it goes green to orange too so unable to use internet as this is happening since I am using this product. In terms of Range it's top quality but I doubt something issue in router. What you think what might be the issue? Thank you.
First time start is slow but once it connects it's stable very rearly I need to restart it .

Check your lan cable connection internet connection is inconsistent hence the issue, contact your net provider, when internet goes down led turns orange your router is fine, internet connection is poor.

Well the significant difference is mainly about the form factor rather than anything else , if you are going to keep it on table c64 is good ,if mounted on wall c6 better option . Apart from this c6 has "Application Layer Gateway" which is missing on c64

I would suggest c6u as I think it has a better range & you don't need wifi 6 for 200mbps connection

this can be used as range extender as shown in video . i have not used it , i only use dlink or netgear for my network its my personal preference
