- While pregnant with her second child, Kayleigh was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix, which put her at risk of infection. She was prescribed full bed rest. Soon after she became very ill, experiencing chills, body aches, and she realized the baby wasn’t moving. She was rushed to the hospital where she went into septic shock. She survived but lost her arms and legs.
In honor of Maternal Sepsis Week, Kayleigh is bravely sharing her story to help us raise sepsis awareness.

Such an inspirational story and positive attitude despite this unfortunate situation. Keep your head up, Kayleigh. Your husband is a gem.
I wept upon hearing your story. Your resilience is impressive. As a sepsis survivor myself, I am constantly reminded of how lucky I am to have retained all my limbs. ❤❤❤

If anyone would cause someone to get their faith back it’d be this woman ☝️
May God Bless This Women and All Of Her Loved Ones Amen 🙏🏿.
I have not seen Kayleigh in 18 years! We were best friends 9th grade! We had Mr.Armbrister's chorus class together. I use to try to mimic her beautiful British accent which was heavier at the time. I'm so sorry this happened to you but happy you made it through. You haven't aged a day since the last time I saw you!!! Look me up on Facebook.
Bless you. I am a sepsis survivor
Bless 🙏 you both 🤗

Hi I usually never post or comment however it seem the people in this video had a serve case of sepsis.
My wife had maternal sepsis and had a lot of complications.
Is there any advice as during the first pregnancy we were kept in the dark by docs/hospital.
Stay home stay safe #covid19
