As a black guy metalhead I was made fun of constantly in high school for wearing skinny jeans. Than after graduation all of a sudden it was the coolest thing in the world. I was so pissed

Fashion is a form of art and expression. With that being said, some art is meant to be looked at on a runway rather than wearing it while walking down the street. There are plenty of sneakers (Nike Mags for example) that I think look really cool but I know they are better looking on display, not apart of my outfit. Some people think something that looks cool will immediately translate well to being worn by them, ultimately making them look cool as well. More power to them, but you reap what you sow. If you wear something with the intention of receiving attention, don’t be surprised when the attention you receive is negative feedback.

I'm glad you brought up the hentai hoodie, last year I went to a Renaissance festival in my state and I seen a guy where that same hoodie... I actually have a hentai hoodie somewhere. I got it bc I think the idea of it is fucking hilarious, but I’ve never worn it.

A couple fashion trends you missed are the weird fashion runway dresses, which is people just making dresses out of the most ridiculous things that they can come up with and calling it a masterpiece, and who could forget the ripped jeans trend! Basically, you can buy ripped jeans at the store, and it will cost you more than buying a regular pair and ripping them yourself.
Fr. I'm grunge and and some of the jeans they sell be looking like you just got mauled by a bear ☠️😭 (also for outraging prices)
I'm so glad my dad works in men's fashion so I could actually get legitimate advice on how to dress well. I get complimented very often on my outfits and I could definitely attribute that to the knowledge from my dad. Not many guys have that opportunity.
Also, I do have printed hoodies, but it's highly dependent on how the design looks and how you compliment it. I have a black one with a haunted house and little ghosts on the sleeves. But with that, I'll wear black jeans, black converses with white laces, and spooky bracelets. That one I literally get compliments on every time I go out.

Btw, if I ever want the big red boots from MSCHF, I’ll just 3D print them with a soft rubber-like filament (which is usually really cheap), then if I need to, paint or spray paint them red, and spray a waterproof coat over it. It will only take a few days to finish, and is hundreds of dollars cheaper, even if you include the price of the 3D printer.

Nah 3d printed hoodies can go hard sometimes, but the mf's in hentai hoodies 100% have a stench meter that stays at maximum no matter the scenario. I used to have a few DragonBall 3d hoodies i wore because i was a smaller person than other kids in highschool and i had they oversized hoodies my lame parents bought for me cause they didnt know what i liked to wear. They were comfy as f*ck and i basically slept through every class in a blanket strapped to me.
