    We got the 2022 Project Source Pro Flush Toilet. And it replaced that American standard hydra I talked about in the comments on a previous video you posted.

      I bet that's a good improvement

      @OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations Well, it so far is an okay toilet just not as good as American Standard or Kohler, but I'd rather have that than those shitty Glacier Bays.

    Lowe’s is making Pressure Assisted Toilets now? What’s next? Project Source Flushometer Toilets and Urinals?

      I’m thinking the same thing 🤔

      I hope they start making flushometer toilets and urinals. Considering their pressure assist toilet is one of the best I've seen and their base model tank toilet is one of the best on the market, I wouldn't be surprised if they made a flushometer toilet that was actually really good. However, people would still continue to hate it for no other reason than because it's modern.

    Having seen BTR's video on this as well - this is a cool toilet. It does have some power to the flush even on .8 Gal (3 Liter) which is so much better than the rather lousy 1 Gal versions but this probably would be even better still on a 1.6 Gal system. This toilet does seem to have decent bowl rinse but maybe won't be great on the preset .8 Gals as flush is short and water level in the bowl is as low as a washdown (so overall bowl clearance may be a issue) so it will need to be retrofitted with a 1.6 Gal (6 Liter) Flushmate (maybe in another tank that would fit the bowl) to get the very best out of this toilet. I do still really like this Eco Flush toilet though and looking forward to see what it can do in the test video to come!

      I think this toilet could outdo most pressure assist toilets but the one major problem definitely is that water level in the bowl.

    That handle looks similar to a American Standard PA Cadet

    Very interesting! Project Source is breaking new ground for themselves by making their own pressure assist toilet, knowing they are an entry level brand! I know it's been done before with Glacier Bay and their first gen PowerFlush, although it was awful. Can't wait to see this on tests! And I must say, it looks very much like any normal Pro Flush! Definitely an ultimate sleeper toilet!

    • @OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations
      @OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations  Před 9 dny +2

      It seems like Project Source or whoever is actually making these toilets knows what they're doing. Perhaps American Standard and Kohler could take notes because they just keep making these awful overpriced garbage piles with custom expensive tank parts that don't work right.

      @OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations Have you done your tests with the Pro Flush Eco yet?

  • @joeysnyder7532
    @joeysnyder7532 Před 9 dny +2

    You can convert it to a 1.6 gpf and they make an eco-flush pressure assisted vessel to use 1.6 gpf if you like or a flushmate 1.6 pressure assisted vessel if you like.

    • @OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations
      @OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations  Před 9 dny +1

      You would also have to get a bigger tank but I'm sure that wouldn't be too difficult because the bolts are 5½ inches apart which is the most common measurement. The hard part would be finding a tank that could fit a vessel in it but the American Standard 4112 tank would work.

    The 2023 project source proflush eco toilet on a flushmate with .8 gallons per flush isn’t a good idea and would be better on a 1.6 gallon flushmate. The flush on this toilet is pretty good similar to a Kohler pressure lite and it’s pretty decent. I’m not a huge fan of pressure assist toilets because they scare me a little bit because they flush as if they’re on flushometer.
    It’s very nice to see BTR plumbing in this video helping you unbox the toilet 😃

    I question why people think 0.8 gallons was a great idea

    • @OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations
      @OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations  Před 9 dny +2

      Because some idiot decided that water was running out and managed to convince the government to believe him. We've had the same amount of water on earth ever since it was created and it's never going to run out. If people want to use more water to flush their toilet, that should be up to them, not the government.
      This toilet actually held up pretty well on tests but the line carry would be absolutely nothing so you can expect to be snaking your pipes every once in awhile If you were to install one of these.

    0.8 gallon toilet aren't that powerful and could be much better if is in 1.28 or 1.6 gpf

      @@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations Okay I respect that. I'm just saying this that because I have a older version similar to this and i can't stand because the water pressure gets low sometimes when someone takes a shart.
