Why do you guys get so butt hurt over us calling it soccer? You call it football, we call it soccer at then end of the day we all know what sport we’re referring to.
@@cjboyer4355 no one is "butt hurt" we call the beautiful game football because it is a game played predominantly with feet. Unlike American throw and catch ball which is played with hands yet you call it "foot" ball.
They call it the Beautiful Game for a reason.
If you don't get it, you never will.
If you do get it, it will never let you go.
It really helps to commit your support to one club, either foreign or domestic, as well as your national team. Do that, and the hook is firmly set.

7:08 The ball is hit just below the middle of the ball to get spun, the inside of the ball has an inside pressure, the outside has pressure too. When the ball spins the inside pressure is spinning and the outside pressure is not, it create the ball to curve due to pressures being applied opposite way, creates the curve and then the decrease of speed makes it dip lower to then create lower pressure and more curve.

If you want to shoot the ball like Roberto Carlos, shoot hard and with the outside of your foot then it curles that way but a lot of practice goes into that and the love of the game. I was good with the inside of my foot but I trained since I was 6 years old. You gotta sacrifice a lot for this, if you don't want to put in the work and effort don't even try. With that being said I love your comments and really appreciate it and love the game.

Guys on this Saturday there is annual biggest football event. Basically it was Super Bowl for the football (the sport where you play the ball with your feet). It was called UEFA Champions League final. Just spare your two hours of your time to witness one of greatest offensive force which is Liverpool against the team that refuse tho die which is Real Madrid. I believe match will be entertaining, the kickoff was on 01.00 PM EST or 11.00 AM PST

For the ball turning mid air, it's something called the Magnus effect. You also see it a lot in ping pong and tennis. If the ball spins, it will move towards the direction it is spinning. Because physics. Not a very good explanation, but the math is way above my head :P So i'll stick with this.

I like your reactions. First time watching your video though.... I hope you take what I'm about to say to heart. MOST OF THE GOALS IN THIS VIDEO ARE LAST MINUTE-WINNING GOALS FOR THE TEAMS WHO SCORED THEM HENCE THE OVER-JOYOUS JUBILATION. Even if you're not supporting that team, if you know their history and how they scored that goal, you'll appreciate their effort.
E.g. 9:57 Ronaldo scored a bicycle kick against Juventus on their home turf in the 64th minute at the winning goal. Even the Juventus home supporters applauded him. NOW, THAT'S CLASS!

No offence but you can just tell anyone why football is so beautiful. You have to have been part of it in some way either watching it as a kid and throughout your life or playing it. You need to know the history of the game and each tournament, the fact that there’s one WC every four years and only 8 nations have won it... so therefore knowing what it means for every person in the country that obtains it. The passion the fans have for there teams. The heartbreak and journey that each club has been through. You need to know the names and history of the players that make the game look so beautiful, the cruyff’s, Ronaldinho’s, Messi’s and R9s.
Really is the most beautiful game. Because you don’t have to be the best on the day like tennis basketball or cricket. Any underdog can win with a late goal and any giant can fall. Beautiful, beautiful game

What you need to see is Ronaldinho at the age of 7, now that's called GOAT level.
Hahahaha I love that we have the secret of curling the ball. I could tell you how it's done if you like. Fairly tricky to explain just with words. But I' think I'm in the perfect mindset. So you have to kick through the ball, but off centre. If you do this to the right, the ball will curl left. About halfway through its journey. You need to experiment to understand. But it is very similar to doing similar things like playing pool. If that helps?
P.s. you guys are the first people I've seen spot that Messi/Madonna run. Where they do almost the same run, passing like 7 guys, and scoring almost the same goal. F#£# epic!! 😁😎✌️

Well, it really doesn't offend me to see your laughter... because when I watch the NFL or NBA, don't be offended but I laugh a lot at the little black guys who jump... it's very funny hahaha... Of course if you understood what I'm talking about , well finally Americans and everything is laughter and laughter
I don't think this is a good video for outsiders to really get "the beauty of football". For a lot of those scenes, background information is required. Showing Anfield or the Bernabeau gives you nothing or does it? If you know the history, the games that were played there, the ups and downs the clubs went through, then just seeing images of certain places gives you chills already.
You need to know whats going on to really get it. The 5 goals of Robert Lewandowski. Yes thats pretty awesome. ... What makes it legendary is that his team was behind 0:1 and he was not even playing. He was on the bench. Second half starts and they put him in and he goes and scores a goal right away. And scores a goal. And scores a goal. And scores a goal. And scores a goal. 5 goals in 9 minutes, beating several records, gaining 4 entries in the guiness book of world records.
Some of those scenes are not that spectacular in itself, but in the context. Like Beckhams free kick against Greece. Ok, well it was spectecular, but it was even more spectecular when you know the context, it was the 93rd minute of a game that decided if england went straight to the world cup or not. It was after Beckham had done some not so great free kicks before this one. It was important and it was incredibly difficult and still he steps up and then does ... this. It's not just a good goal, it's way more than that.
And so are other scenes in this video. I don't think it works without background information and some insight into the sport.

I know, as someone that grew up in the USA, how Americans don't understand the level of passion the sport has world wide.
However, football (soccer for you) is an insanely passionate sport in most other countries.
It's to many many countries what American Football is to Americans and in many cases, even more. Because some fans in soccer are just on another level. Many European leagues, Brazil, Argentina, even Venezuela... Those fans are insane hahaha
