I have just recently found you and I enjoy turning to your channel on while I putter around the house.
Today, I listened about Satan and the Logan Temple. This is where my husband and I were sealed 35 years ago. Your story hold true still today! As a young married couple, we would make plans for the temple but if we used the word 'temple,' our plans would be derailed almost as fast as we mentioned the word! We used to invite each other to have 'white food' for dinner, meaning we would do a session and eat in the cafeteria. Now, since the cafeteria is closed, we say we would like to go to the 'castle' or the 'house on the hill.'
When I mention this to friends, they react the same way! It is VERY common for people in Cache Valley to have code words for temple attendance. Appointments do seems to alleviate some, but not all, of the difficulties getting to the temple.

I remember reading this story and how the men would be working in the fields would drop their shovels and other tools and run to the Temple. It was like if they did that, it caught the adversary off guard and they could get to the Temple without any problems. You left out the part where hoards of spirits simply vanished when Pres. Merrill rebuked them.

@@lancemerrill6390 So we have to upset him carefully. but not too much. I went overboard and upset him far too much by doing a ton of temple work when i first came into the Church. and went around in circles in the church with afflictions for 20 years going nowhere because of it. And he did confront me in the spirit world because of the temple work I was involved in.
Great stories! It’s amazing how one small act can change lives!! One good Bishop got my husband on a mission and saved his life. I was fortunate enough to meet and marry him over 50 years later. So, I never met that Bishop but I thank him often

I am trying to get more my family members not only baptized but every thing done .
I've had missionaries say that isn't it good enough that they are baptized, no, belive me,they're not happy not happy about not getting everything done!
I'm really not technically able to understand how to do things.

Every one is almost a Sinor member and my first time going to the Temple it took over a year because teachers were just having family issues and health issues along with my issues.

Thanks for sharing these on CZcams! It gives me an opportunity to be inspired by the stories of the early saints. My pioneer heritage goes back all the way to the restoration on both sides of my family. So it helps to know how amazing these good people were. Gives me hope that I too can do something great.

I know this is going to sound odd, but I could’ve sworn I’ve seen this video before years ago. I’ll leave what that means up for debate to keep the real meaning protected for I’ve felt like I’ve been an adversary-target for a long time. But what you did just now may seem like just a simple CZcams post, but this is not at all. It’s much bigger than that. It goes beyond words of how important this is to me. When I heard you mentioned the wagon wheel coming off it reminds me of another experience I had on my mission very very long ago. We once had an experience where we literally had not taught for a couple of weeks and I mean no activity of any kind. When we finally had an appointment arranged we began our long journey by bike and it was very far away. As we were riding our bikes I was in the front leading us when suddenly my bike came to an abrupt and complete stop going from 30mph to zero as when something gets thrown into your bike spokes and you come to a complete stop. My companion was right behind and witness the entire event. I shot, flew like superman when you see him flying arms stretched out in front right through and above my handle bars forward and as my body was quickly descending I just thought for split second I'm going to get hurt. My face hit the pavement first with all my body weight behind driving my face into the ground. After I hit and then stopped the first thing I did is reach for my face. I knew when I hit, as I hit the ground that I felt my facial bones break and knew there would be blood.. As I reached towards my face, the closer my hand got to my face, or as my hand gradually got closer, the pain finished more and more until I touched my face. My back was turned to my company as I had stood up and as I turned around he looked at me and just said "No way" and I was shocked there was no blood. The next thing is my bike handle bars were twisted and bent along with other damage. I looked at my companion and said Satan wants us to give up, we haven't had any teaching in 2 wesks. I bent my handle bars back and we pushed forward and we Mae and kept that appointment and made another afterwards. I had a blessing from the Lord when young that my face would be protected. On my mission that was and has continued to be the case. Our Father in Heaven Lives, His son Jesus Christ lives and in reality and even now prepares with His brothers and sisters under the direction of the Father for His return to this earth even so in His Hoy name Jesus Christ.amen.

@@lancemerrill6390 Lucifer has confronted me personally in the spirit world ,and told me hes on a personal warpath with me and been using his powers to disrupt me to make it difficult to try to get back again into the temple all because me and mum put several thousand of our names already through the temple and I had more collected up more names to check for temple work God told me in my blessing that I was a threat to the devil. And that's why he was going out of his way to try to disrupt my access to the temple because he was angry at all the temple work and with the names I had collected up as part of gathering of Israel that President Nelson told us to do. I could not easily remove Lucifer out of the way of the temple because he was interferring using his powers of opposition. Because he didn't like all the names I was collecting.

Thank you for sharing those stories. I was very touched by that Bishop who was inspired to call your grandfather to confer the Aaronic priesthood on your father. We have so many wonderful Bishops in the Church who do such good work. But I also think that it says a lot about your grandfather: by that simple act of the Bishop’s invitation, he came to himself, squared his shoulders, put his hand to the plow in a manner of speaking, and never looked back. And your father, of course, was inspired to do what he did. By listening to and heeding the Spirit’s promptings great things can happen.

Thanks for sharing. I have a few questions. What's the meaning of the appearance? Why the shabby looks? Why the large group of people? Why the walking or use of wagons? I assume spirits can move very fast without any aids. Why wagons? Why not appear as an angel of light or at least dressed in an impressive way? Why not be more scary, as in when he appeared to Moses?
Any thoughts?
The appearance was in the late 1800s. It was to impress the mind of MWM. I assume it was ordered that way to have a maximum impression on him. He managed construction crews, maybe their appearance was to appear able to get the job done. I don't really know. Thanks for watching

He could from that place and did. But satan and his minions are part of our test here. Limiting them would also limit us and our agency.

@@shireecox122 He basically did. I should have more of a point of that part of the story. I tell many of these stories from memory with brief notes. In the accounts it said that MWM told them he would not stop the work. They had all soon vanished from the Temple grounds.

Finer spiritual matter may be outside the spectrum limits of your phone, but not your spirit.
I find this story a bit weird. I don't think Satan likes to reveal himself in such a manner. A Christian would probably "bind him in the name of the Lord." Of course, he might not have been in such danger there?
I'm not sure how the LDS views Satan, as Jesus' brother still, maybe? But I sometimes wonder, because of the account of the Fall (especially Genesis 3:5), if Eve was the first "Mormon."
The Aaronic priesthood belongs solely to those in the tribe of Levi. Only a small branch will be allowed to continue during the Millennial Reign of Christ. Christians are under the Melchizedek priesthood, and Christ is their High Priest because they are under Grace. Those under the Aaronic priesthood will be condemned, because the Law only condemns, it cannot save anyone (for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God).
I believe Heavenly Father is the Creator of all things. Jesus Christ is His Son, The Son. I believe God created ALL THINGS. Do You? I also believe the Bible to be the word of God, the Creator of all things. Isiah 14: 12 "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning. how art thou cut down to the ground which didst weaken the nations." Lucifer, son of the morning is satan or the devil. I don't believe a being exists that the Creator of all things did not create. Heavenly Father is the God and Father of all. Some have rebelled, as John referred to in Revelation They are satan and his followers. "WAS a war in Heaven" Revelation 12:7
@@lancemerrill6390 Yes, I believe in God the Father, God the Son (Jesus His Christ), and God the Holy Spirit, the Godhead. The ONE God.
And I know that God created all things and that all things were created by Him ALONE. And yet it says that all things were created by Jesus, through Him, by Him, and in Him all things exist.
Lucifer (Hêylêl) was created by God. He was perfect in all his ways until he wanted to become God.
Lucifer is a transliteration from the Latin by the King James Version translators. They did not have a translation for the word. It is a word that Nephi or Lehi, or whoever could not have known, and would never have used, so it should have not been in the Book of Mormon.
It is one of many words, such as the word "Christ" that cannot be in the Book of Mormon. Church, bible, etc, did not even exist yet -- not only the words, but the concepts.
Using the word "Christ" even after Christ came is very problematic. They were supposed to be Jews, it would have always been "Messiah." Where would they have gotten the Greek?
They should have had a Jewish concept of the Messiah, not a Christian concept, especially not before Christ, before Christians, before the church, and before the bible.
It is things like this that are more than red flags that suggest that the Book of Mormon is not true. It would make no sense to reveal these meaningless words to a bunch of Indians without explanation, and without also giving them to Israel.
You seem to be a kind person, surely you know about these things. They are signs, evidence of impropriety.
I'm not sure how I found my way to this channel, probably because I was looking into the nonsense of the three Nephites, the ones who supposedly do not die and who roam around strangely.
So far, I have found no accounts of them spreading the gospel of Christ.

Because we dont know all truths. Stop saying this and that doesnt make sense. The creation of the world doesnt make sense and yet it happened. We exercise our faith and believe that it happened regardless of evidence, just like physical evidence of the book of mormon is lacking. The bible is in the same boat. A lack of evidence for itself is why people dont believe. How do you know the bible is true? I know it’s true because the Holy Spirit, the Testator of truth, testified to me it is true. And it is the exact same feeling with the book of mormon. Dont you dare tell anyone they didnt feel the spirit reading the book of mormon, because we do and that is how we know it is from God. I cant believe the hypocrisy among Christians concerning the book of mormon. You sound like a bunch of atheists, saying the “evidence” says otherwise about the BOM, but that is the same argument people use against the bible. Read it, pray to God to know if its true and if its His Word just as the bible is. God did not just speak to the Jews, he visited all the inhabitants of the earth and if he commanded the Jews to record his Word then he definitely commanded all people he visited to record his Words. That is literally how you teach the next generation. If people had the same honest desire to really know if the book of mormon is true the same way they know the bible is true, there would be alot less confusion among denominations and alot less denominations in the first place. There is supposed to be One church on the earth. Find it and stop fighting against it. We are on the same team here buddy. Either go to God for answers or keep believing the internet. Everyone has a choice and a chance.

I thought Satan didn’t have a body
He doesn't he is a personage of spirit. According to Joseph Smith, a spirit may appear in every way to be human, though they will have no physical composition.
Only those who kept their first estate have bodies. As the Prophet Joseph taught that Cain will rule over Satan in hell because Cain has a body. Section 129 of the Doctrine and Covenants teaches how to tell angelic visitors apart of God and Satan.

That's interesting because a few years ago, I had a dream in which the adversary confronted me and asked me to stop doing good and doing temple work because it was frustrating his efforts. I told him that I would not and to depart.
I have worked as an ordinance worker for 27 years. I know it is the most effective gathering of Isreal. Those on the other side of the veil are anxious to have the work done. They have already accepted the Word.

I have seen 2 hr videos going in depth we on how The Church is wrong and Satanic. Lol this is what the pharacies and sagucies did the Jesus Christ so ofcorse the religious experts of the day are going to put the church down and do everything they can to lead people astray because if people are following the true teachings of Christ and learning how much he truely loves us all then they are leaving the false Churches whose pastures are typically paid to preach. And if they ard. It paid then they are getting rich off of the power kind of like most dictators and politicians power and influence over others can be addicting and feels good to those who just want likes and attention and care not so much about the truth. I know members of the church are not perfect but our scriptures and The Gospel the The Church of Jesus Christ is true!. Remember this my friends!
