This. This is the sort of darkness I wanted to see in Conquest. Of all 3 routes, I figured Conquest would be the most twisted, given how Victory though Conquest is often a hollow one. I've watched several of these videos now and each one has chilled me. I wish these sort of things happened. Also, the music choices are absolutely perfect. Sets the mood so well.
I guess what's funny is that Selena and Laslow are married in my Revalation file...

It made me yell "OBORO YOU FUCK!" because I came to the conclusion of Oboro killing Laslow at the Opera House Incident to reach Corrin (who was assumingly sitting with the other living Royals)

Laslow is by far one of favorite characters after Felicia and possibly Nyx. I feel as if this video just intensified my admiration of his character. Custom SC, thank you for all your wonderful stories.
This was amazingly written. It really makes you wonder how the Awakening kids feel about having to kill mercilessly all the time. Very interesting to see Laslow and Selena's point of view.
Holy fuck that music. I feel so on edge just listening to it. I can imagine Laslow and Selena discussing this as the Nohrian army marches through the capital, with soldiers all around them. I'm so unnerved I love it. You really do have a knack for picking the perfect tracks.
Jesus.... it's very chilling to see something like this. For someone you love Fates a lot, even I wanted to see something like that made Conquest feel like it was tackling so dark subject matter. Not this melodrama Corrin gives us. Now this is what I wanted to see in Conquest! Thank you making this you did a very very great job on it!

it's good to see this since it's kind of rare to see any of the units that isn't the lords have a special moment except for introducing themselves in the chapter so this was awesome to see

I appreciate seeing how the other Conquest units feel about fighting under a benevolent leader whose trying to reform the country and show they're not evil, just have shitty management.
You write these two well (especially since I'm not really a Selena fan) that I wonder how you'd handle Revelation 13 if these two were fighting.
And I have a headcanon for Saizo surviving with a face-heel turn after Ryoma's and possibly Kagero's death. He probably wouldn't have forgiven Kaze.
Now that I think about it, yeah, Kaze betrayed his brother and the entirety of Hoshido, which makes me think that, if Saizo lived, he would've hunted down Kaze.
Honestly feel that SOL fighting for Nohr feels OOC knowing their history.
It does, but honestly, I think it's mainly their history and hidden truths where Anankos says for them to go to Nohr to find his son. that's the only reason I see, and even then, no kind of moments made when it becomes fairly obvious.
I guess they just stick through. The boys do try to help the less moral ladies like Peri and Beruka at least and are Elise-level cheerful. it's just tragic in Birthright that they don't find out. Or badly written. Still, they could be Spotpass to make way for original retainers.

great story with the whole vengeful oboro plot. but this makes me think that as much as a staple perma death is in the series, it prevents scenes like this with the excuse being "oh these characters might have fallen at this point". I hope that this changes in echoes,

Geez I wish this was real! Also, that was very well written!
I loved this. The dialogue felt so real and true to the characters(granted a couple lines were a bit akwardly said but that even happens in real life sometimes right?).
Also the details and stuff you add to these custom convos makes the story MUCH more interesting than the actual game. I pray one day Nintendo will come back to remake fire emblem fates and its story, and that by some stroke of insane luck, you become the screenwriter.

This was very well written, good job mate! I'm still confused when Laslow said that Corrin ordered the soldiers not to spare anyone. Throughout Conquest, even when they were invading Hoshido, spaving lives was their #1 priority so what changed here?
+Travon Armstrong remember that during the battle at the wall of suzanoh, Garon's army was behind Corrin's, so Corrin knew that sparing them would mean Garon would find out/kill them anyway, so I would assume Corrin just gave them to kill, that's why Oboro and Hinata die if you defeat them but not if you defeat Setsuna or Azama

Doesn't Corrin STILL try to save people after the battle at the wall, though? I'm so confused... just that I remember Corrin and Azura giving up on trying to find Takumi and try to get as many of the defeated Hoshidans away before Garon and his flunkies arrive to butcher all the survivors. Other than that, I thought this was EXCELLENT and makes perfect sense in-story for why Oboro might survive (given that unlike Hinata, it's near-impossible to avoid her on the way to Takumi and you'd be at risk to yourself by unequipping your weapon(s) so as not to retaliate and kill her)...
I just headcanoned that by the time Garon's forces arrived at the wall, it was too late to save any remaining Hoshidans that fought to the end until surrender (including Oboro). So by the time Garon's forces arrive, Corrin decided to mercy kill any Hoshidans that still lived to save them from any cruel executions by Iago/Garon and his soldiers.
Ah, OK then... It's not in any way compliant with my own headcanon (since even in CQ, Corrin's a bleeding heart to the extreme), but it makes more sense rather than contradicting the chapter's end dialogue. So Hinata's clearly dead... I'm guessing both Ryoma's retainers are, too? Seems only Hinoka and Sakura got lucky on that front (I take issue with people ignoring that, as far as CANON goes we're meant to see their retainers as all surviving the climax - Hana and Subaki are explicitly stated, at least in the Japanese and English versions to be locked up with Sakura and Yukimura; we don't see Azama and Setsuna after Chapter 24 but my impression is they along with Hinoka made it out).
Out of curiosity, how do you handle the possible BR deaths that are avoidable in gameplay? Do you suggest that Arthur and Effie fight alongside Corrin, or do they sit it out? Do Laslow and Peri mount a suicidal charge even after Xander falls (if he falls before them, which I feel is very likely), or do they surrender? At least there's no way to write around Leo and Camilla's retainers surviving, so you'd have to outright defy canon to have THEM die too!

A few ideas or what I've surmised
first someone else gave that order but lied and said it came from Corrin.
second Hinata's dead and by extent Hisame
third Oboro could develop an obsession/crush on the kind Nohrian Soldier who spared her.
fourth Oboro's hatred of Nohr is called into question and confliction in her due to the soldier who spared her was "Nohrian"
Fifth This misunderstanding on who gave the order to execute the surrendering soldiers leads to Oboro's hatred and attempted murder towards Corrin. Hinted and referenced by the support after the war when Oboro speaks to Kana.
and sixth the happy ending Inigo marries Oboro and she's free to live the rest of her days happy and healthy finally healed and whole in Ylisse or Ferox with her charming husband.
