We wanted to explore the beauty of Thailand. We packed our bags, loaded our car, and set off from Kuala Lumpur early in the morning.
Our first destination was Koh Lipe, a small island in the Andaman Sea. We drove to the ferry pier at Pak Bara, Satun, where we boarded a speedboat that took us to the island. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the clear blue water, the white sand, and the friendly locals. We checked into our beachfront bungalow and spent the rest of the day snorkeling, swimming, and relaxing.
The next day, we continued our journey to Khong Thom, a district in Krabi province. We drove along the scenic road, passing by lush green hills, limestone cliffs, and quaint villages. We stopped at a Namtok Wang Sai Thong, where we soaked in the mineral-rich water and enjoyed the natural surroundings. We also visited a waterfall, where we cooled off and took some photos. We reached our hotel in Khong Thom in the evening and had a delicious dinner at a nearby restaurant.
The following day, we headed to Phang Nga, a province famous for its stunning bay and islands. We joined a boat tour that took us to some of the most iconic sights, such as James Bond Island, Koh Panyee, and Hong Island. We marveled at the rock formations, the caves, and the wildlife. We also kayaked through the mangroves and explored the hidden lagoons. We returned to the mainland in the afternoon and drove to our next stop, Phuket.
Phuket was the most popular and crowded place we visited, but it also had a lot to offer. We stayed at a resort in Patong, where we enjoyed the nightlife, the shopping, and the entertainment. We also visited some of the quieter beaches, such as Kata, Karon, and Kamala, where we sunbathed, surfed, and parasailed. We also took a day trip to Phi Phi Island, where we snorkeled with the colorful fish and coral.
Our last destination was Ao Nang, a beach town in Krabi province. We drove there from Phuket, crossing the Sarasin Bridge and admiring the views. We checked into our hotel and walked to the beach. We also watched the sunset from the boat, which was a magical experience.
We ended our road trip in Hat Yai, a city near the Malaysian border. We drove there from Ao Nang, passing by rubber plantations, rice fields, and temples. We spent the night at a hotel and did some last-minute shopping at the markets. We also ate some of the local delicacies, such as dim sum, roti, and ice cream. We crossed the border and drove back to Kuala Lumpur, feeling happy and fulfilled.
