"grow prune" Summer School 2024 Improvisation

Emily Ball and Katie Sollohub filmed the making of their own improvised large scale collaborative garden painting in preparation for this year's Summer School. Inspired by a morning of drawing at Highdown Gardens in West Sussex, they returned to the Seawhite Studio and painted together, using cheap acrylics on a roll of Fabriano cartridge paper stapled to the studio wall: growing the painting, pruning it, seeing what grows with what, what needs cutting out.
