Completely agree about the pops and bangs mate, as cool as it is. Better to hear the engine noise

Always love watching as I am also an owner of a 2019 Xdrive 140 and am loving it always! I live in Germany so autobahn is amazing fun!

All b58 pops and bang in sports mode on stock map with sports exhaust system. When turned off it sounds more like comfort in sports sounds good. The bangs is toned down a bit with XHP gearbox map on mine from experience. I had mine off for a week and back on I like with a little bang now and then can be tweaked on BM3 am sure its the same with you maps
Great video, that ain’t damp conditions they are “soaking” ,on my second M140 they get a lot of press but quite deservedly so - they really are a great car !!
At the moment, Cotswold BMW are selling the carbon fibre gearshifter trim for lower than cost price on their eBay store - they look fantastic
Am saving up for a BMW 1 series 118i am putting £50-£100 away a month into a money tin. Gonna take me a while

Found your channel a while back when you had your old 140i as I was in the market for one myself. Decided to get a Cupra in the new year instead of the 140i and after watching this im thinking about changing my mind again 🤣
You won’t regret it
I went from a cupra 290 to a m235i and definitely do not regret it
Did you get the bumper repainted or did you get the hole car machined polished? Looks alot better colour matched now

Maybe get some carbon interior, also star lights would be a idea but from what ive heard its pretty tedious to get done more than anything but worth it🤞🏻also not for everyone but floating hub caps👌🏻

Did you retrofit heated seats? Did you vide it if so? Fairly basic spec otherwise

I’ve got decent spec to be honest and I’m guessing you’re assuming that purely because I’ve not got pro nav or cruise control. I’ve had them before in my last m140i and thought it would be cool to retrofit the OEM pro nav, car play and cruise control this time around.
I ended up going for a spec that is hard to retrofit and leaving out the bits I can retrofit easily which then gives me more content
My spec is decent to be honest:
- Front and rear parking sensors
- HK audio
- High Beam assist
- Heated seats
- Power folding mirrors
I’m sure that was carlyon bay and par market at the start
Havnt seen the niddle move a cm😂 after all them pops and bangs. Very economic!
What kind of range do you get from a tank also how big is your tank
55 litres and depends how you drive, I've got Stage2+ through Bootmod3 and B58TU HPFP. I can get 43mpg on eco mode and cruise control at 73mph (more efficient than 70 apparently) for motorway trips, but around 25mpg on a drive or up to 35mpg around town. I have the manual with different gearing/differential so that might have some impact on the figures too. Probably around 300 miles per tank of mixed driving from memory.
