Even though the bible promises full spiritual blessings, but ain't nobody receiving those spiritual blessings if they don't believe and know how to receive! Even though he has promises but God is not the Variable, if you don't believe, receive, you will be dead and not have received what he said. We are co-labors with the Lord. GOD BLESS :)!

    1. A poor application of the theological truths about God's Sovereignty and Man's Responsibility
    2. Following bad teaching
    3. Committing sin they don't even know is sin
    4. Imbalanced between speaking words of Love and Truth
    5. Only loving people through niceness
    6. Thinking love means being misused
    7. Expecting blessings God never promised
    8. Missing the main message of the Bible

    • @derickwhitson2684

Notes for point 1 Some do too much and some don’t do enough some just pray and some work hard but when you’re rightly applying what the Bible says about both of these topics you realize there’s not this either or option but rather you’re going to work hard in faith while also fully trusting and knowing that anything good is ultimately because God is doing it
      Colossians 1:29
Note for point 2 the only Teacher that is always right and never wrong is Jesus Himself
We shouldn’t expect teachers to always be right it’s even true that there are biblical teachers who explain the gospel accurately and help you come to Christ but they aren’t teaching another part of Christian living in a accurate way so when you follow that part of their teaching you’re going to be blocking God’s blessings because you’re following inaccurate teaching about a life principle
1 Timothy 4:1-2 we must never mindlessly follow a teacher even if the teacher benefitted us in the past
Notes for point 3 we have to remember that’s it’s our personal responsibility to read the scriptures and know what they say know what’s commended what God wants us to do and know what’s forbidden what God doesn’t want us to do
Pray that Holy Spirit opens your eyes to anything that you might be blinded to that is blocking God’s blessings in your life
      Psalm 19:12-13
Notes for point 4 Ephesians 4:15 it’s really easy to err on one of those sides
Soemurns we just try to be loving and then we don’t tell the whole truth because we’re afraid it might hurt someone’s feelings on the other hand sometimes we get so focused on making people understand the truth that we lose love in the process and we’re just beating them over the head with this truth either way when you don’t have the right balance you’re missing out on the blessing of healthy relationships and healthy communication that stems from. being biblically balanced in speaking the truth in love Proverbs 13:3, Proverbs 18:21
Notes for point 4 it can be unkind to be overly nice in certain situations sometimes someone needs to be lovingly disciplined Hebrews 12:6 sometimes people need to be lovingly rebuked Galatians 6:1 or they need to be boldly encouraged in a way that isn’t nice and coddling them 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 when you only show niceness to people you miss out on the bigger blessing you could have by being a blessing to people who need something more than niceness Philippians 2:5
If you have a warped version of love in your mind this is going to block a blessing in your life Philippians 2:5
When we have balanced healthy relationships that are selfless on both sides that’s a huge blessing
7 it’s absolutely essential as Christians that we do really rely on and put our hope on the promises of God
The Bible says God can bring spouses riches and health it does not promises every single person on this earth will have a spouse will be rich on these earth will have a perfect body
When it comes to spiritual blessings the Bible does promises that all Christians will receive these in full
Notes for 8 while the Bible does gives us amazing principles about life and just thriving
Ultimately scriptures points us to Jesus Christ first and foremost the person and work of Jesus and if you miss Jesus in scripture and it turns into this book of tips and techniques and you’re not having that rich relationship with Christ through the salvation He alone can offer them you’re going to be missing the biggest blessing of all
      2 Corinthians 1:19-20

This is so timely that I can't believe! I was just thinking minutes ago about a certain flaw which I think is a sin that is present in my life (I am struggling with it for some time now) and that is one of the things that is maybe blocking blessings into my life. I got gently rebuked by God's Spirit just before I saw the video and now through Mark. Wow! I am amazed how God speaks through His Spirit and other people too! ☺
And you, brother Mark, guessed some things about my life you have mentioned in the video I started crying... 😥
I am definitely considering enrolling into your course so I will hurry up to apply and pay for it (I surely hope I will have no issues in paying through a credit card).
God bless you, brother, you are truly God's vessel and you have a gift of prophesy, besides encouragement and exhortation gifts. You really are a great pastoral counselor! 😇

Personally, I believe in skipping the "middle man". All I have to do is cry and my Daddy will come running to see what is wrong with me. So, no arguing. I will just fall on my face in a minute.

Sometimes perhaps, some relationships were meant to just end. In order for something better to be able to start in the future. Of course, I guess it depends on your own situation. Please, don't act out of desperation or be too rushed taking a life changing decision now. Please continue to love God and seek answer in Him through prayers. May God bless you and your family.

I`m in a serious pickle. I am searching for jobs, and I applied for something without researching the job. Well, they called me back, but this position would not be good for me. It involves a lot of customer service stuff which is something I cannot stand doing. It makes me constantly angry because I don`t like dealing with the general public in this setting. There is truly nothing good about it, for me. I prefer more hands-on work (I.E. With my hands). I don`t want to accept this offer, but I also live in constant fear of offending God as well. I don`t want to do the wrong thing. But I know this job would make me miserable just like my old retail job ended up doing, and like college did. Following my current path has been extremely painful for me. I don`t feel like I am actually working towards anything, even though others tell me that I am doing good. I almost feel like I am going the opposite direction to where I personally want to go. I don`t know what to do. I don`t want to just keep going down this road even though it gets progressively more painful. I originally wanted to go to welding school pretty soon after I started college. I just never felt like it was what God wanted me to do. Nothing ever stopped me except that feeling, and I interpreted everything as a sign confirming that as well, so I ended up doing exactly what I didn`t want to do (business degree and now corporate jobs) The interest never went away, and eventually, I just bought a little stick welder to try welding out. Welding turned out to be pretty fun And I love my little machine to pieces. I don`t know if welding is my calling/ passion or not, but every time I have gone outside and practice, it makes me feel better. I don`t know if I should take the interview or not. I would rather keep looking for different jobs. If something would come along that makes me feel better about the path I am on, I might feel different, but things only seem to be getting more turbulent. Please pray for me. And any advice ya`ll can give would be greatly appreciated. God Bless!

So when you do welding, you feel like God or the holy spirit is telling you, "no, no, no?"
And do you feel like by taking a regular corporate or 9 to 5 job that God or the holy spirit is telling you yes?

    • @connormarek1028
      @connormarek1028 Před 2 lety +1

@@Penelope416 In the past, whenever I have gone to sign up for classes and such, I felt like he was telling me no. I was just apprehensive about it for some reason, despite actually liking welding. When I actually did it (on my back patio) I was immediately glad I bought my machine. I was ok with not doing it for a living, but the desire to do it never goes away because there is nothing else to replace it. I can see a path for myself as a welder (kind of. I mean I still don`t know how I would make a living while living at the woods, like I ultimately want to), but with anything else, it is like staring into a black void. No idea what is coming or where to go. I don`t know if God has something else for me or not. I believe he is capable of giving me something else, but as of now, I have seen nothing. I mostly just gravitate towards a business job because that is all I know. I hope that is a little more clear.
