Our government just looks after the stuff that needs doing; it’s really not a huge direct impact on too many people’s lives. Regardless of what party is in power, things play out pretty much the same. They promise they’ll make things better, they get elected, and then they do whatever… 🙂 If you’re upset at what people on welfare are doing with their free time, why? If Joe Pothead got a job, how would your life improve? If it’s just resentment, which it probably is, then you’re stressing yourself out… your stress affects nobody else. 🙂

first thing you will notice when you cross the border from the states is it is a LOT cleaner which will result in a surprisingly pleasant feeling to begin with.
I never liked seeing all these civilian cowards walking around with handguns like I did in kansas and such when I did long haul trucking into the states - big shots with no balls

Actually the person in the car is correct. If you come in from Vermont you would stop at the Canadian border. If you’re leaving Quebec you don’t stop at the Canadian border, you stop at the US border. So they’ve got this very wrong in this skit. Am I missing something?
@@barrybmw6101 Yes, but the implication in the skit is that they are so stoned and turned around that they go lost trying to go to Vermont and ended up at the Canadian checkpoint.
Ah, that could be it. But also the people in the car would have to forget that they’re coming from Quebec because they said they were coming from Vermont and then somehow jumped from the Quebec road that leads to the US border and get across to the other road leading to the Canadian border crossing which I suppose in some crossings is possible and others is not possible. But it’s just a joke skit so I’ll go with it. Thanks for that explanation, I appreciate that!
also even if they said it wrong, the sign also showed that going strait ahead was going to the USA and if you drove in 'from vermont' the sign wouldn't point strait. it would tell you to loop back around to go back to the US. but these are semantics and the joke was funny haha
