    How to simplify the settings and boundaries if we want to perform drop test with various height of product to the ground? Without takes much times

    sir,
    This video helped me a lot to understand the dynamic analysis. I am also working on the same type of problem but in that case, I need to use the pressure of flowing fluid (not hydrostatic pressure). Have you made any video in such type of problem then please let me know. it is something like a combination of fluent and explicit Dynamics.

      you can do easily....you just need to map cfd results in fea, just get pressure mapping in fea & solve static and then connect with explicit deck as mentioned in video

    Hi,
    I have done a drop test of a bottle. But in the result, in the animation, the bottle is just moving , not falling on the fixed plate. What should I do? What will be the problem?

      Check the direction of drop. Also try to follow the this tutorials, you should get the similar results shown in video.

    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  Před 3 lety

      It is input for the analysis. You should aware of time frame, where bottle is dropped at what time it will take to reach the floor ( impact). Just try with approximate values first as suggested in video.

    Have you tried reducing mesh size on floor and doing the run and checking stress?

    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  Před 2 lety

      As floor is not rigid in this simulation, so if you change the mesh size stress might also vary.

      @AnuragGupta-op7uz Před měsícem

      @@ajayjayswal yes I am getting a model working in quasi static analysis, but that model I have simulated through Abaqus/Explicit instead of Ansys.
      In abaqus explicit, time period to be applied is too small and run the job. After job completion, check the energy plots and see whether the kinetic energy is small compared to internal energy of system. This energy check criteria is must as we are using explicit solver to run quasi static simulations. Also, self contact is also provided apart from the general contact.
