Hi C&J - so Adam's fish bowl the night before had him a wee hungover? 😖Bummer. Wow, they have quite the bazaar shops there - got to get all the bargains you can! I hate to say it, but at the afternoon delight, that did not look like tiramisu - it looked like chocolate cake with either whipped cream or white frosting. So happy the prescription sun glasses were found - little things like that can put a damper on the holiday. Glad you had a fun trip and found some great shopping bargains. Hugs to y'all!!!! 😎💚☘🍻🎰
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Adam was definitely feeling very fragile this day 😂😂😂 the bazaar was one of the highlights of our trip and you know Chris loves himself a wee bargain. The cake was yummy but having never had tiramisu before I have nothing to compare it too 😂

The food down in the bazaar was some of the best we had while in Turkey this time and it made a change from all the usual offerings up in resort. Would definitely recommend you try it 😊😊 Thanks for watching guys

Love your videos on marmaris. Off to the same place myself next year, saw you got loose spices in the market, how did you bring those back? In your suitcase? Did you need to declare them? My hubby and I are massive foodies and want to bring some back :)
Hi thanks for watching we are glad you enjoyed the videos. We just put the spices in our suitcase, no we didn't have to declare them 😁 The chicken spice mix we got was unreal and we use it quite a bit to marinade with. Definitely worth picking some up and they are so cheap too

They definitely take cash, we just paid cash (lira) each time but they also have a card reader you can tap your card.

I feel your pain ,on the last day of our holiday this year I felt sick I was so sad to leave marmaris, such a lovely place , the only problem we had there was it was hard to change large notes in lira . Did you have to have the right money for the buses or could you use a card? We never got on one as we never had small change? I have thoroughly enjoyed all your videos brings back wonderful memories
Yes you could use your card to get the dolmus, you just tapped it. We only changed our money daily in resort to ensure we didn't have a lot of larger notes, this definitely seemed to help.

What time did the grand bazaar open? Is Marmaris an early place? Or everything open quite late in the day?
Most shops even around the resort are open very late
The bazaar opens about 9am most shops in Marmaris open around 8am but the supermarkets are usually 24hours
Really found your vlog useful. Almost better then Vegas 😀 Thinking of going to Turkey next month for the 1st time. Would you recommend self catering or all inclusive? What currency were you buying in. Heard a lot of different views on Pound, Euro or local currency. All advice gratefully received. TIA.
We are actually heading to turkey next month too. We are going self catering this time again, as we prefer to eat out when we want and choose our meals. However if you get a good price at last minute for the holiday AI can be worth it. We always bring pounds especially to this part of turkey as they prefer pounds and everything is priced in pounds. Euro is mostly accepted in Antalya or side.

When you say the clothes prices have gone up in the bazaar - have they gone up since the beginning of your holiday 10 days ago? Or you mean they’ve gone up since your last time in Marmaris?

How much are clothes in the grand bazaar now? How much were they last year?
Last year we got trainers for 15 quid this year they wouldn't go any lower than 20. Most clothes were a few quid more expensive
Guys what’s this about scanning own luggage? Never done this???
Is this only easyJet?
When you go in to Dalaman airport, you get your luggage scanned.
noticed they serve fries and rice with every meal. Thats a lot of carbs......
Yeah it seems to be just what the meals come with, not larger amounts but you could ask to sub something out for salad or veg I'm sure if you chose. Thanks for watching 😍
620 lira is 19£ not 13£
It was £17.70 based on the exchange rate we got that day, but we were really saying the food alone worked out about 13/14 quid. Maths wasn't our strong point that day. 🤣🤣 Thanks for watching
