I fixed this problem over a year ago. It was dirty fuel injectors.
Solution: Seafoam gas treatment. $10. May take several cans. Be patient as it takes time. It absolutely worked. Amazing. Now I use it every few months or so to maintain. If only I had known earlier... better late than never.

my millenia made that noise in gear too. but it wouldn't move, turned out to be a busted cv joint. not sure if yours moved or not.

I have the same exact car and behavior. Does anyone have firsthand solution that worked (especially including the person who posted the video)? Thanks.

always use 91 octane or better, no matter what..

Anytime your check engine light flashes, its because of a mis fire, caused by bad spark plug or coil pack. Unless your vehicle is really going to fail i would assume thats the problem. You also have to run Premium gas or you will just run into this problem constantly

blown head gasket. or a misfire.
