- Marco SCHWARZ is one of the absolutely best SL skiers in the world at the moment. Twice this season (2018/2019) has he been the fastest in the first run only to DNF in the second but he has also won two events. The city event in Oslo and the Alpine Combined in Wengen.
Little did I know who I was taping on video back in 2014 at the WC event in Levi. It was freezing cold and conditions were rugged. Marcel Hirscher was training together with this one other skier that turned out to be 19y old Marco Schwarz. Now the hottest new name on the tour together with Clement Noel, Ramon Zenhäusern and Daniel Yule. All three braking the Hirscher / Kristoffersen barrier.
But Marco Schwarz is not only a great SL skier. He actually took his first podiums as a junior and on the FIS tour in SG and GS. He is also a great DH skier. That sets him up for the Alpine Combined events. After his win in Wengen he is in the lead in AC in the WC.

Anyway, I like all your videos ! Would have loved to try out some of the techniques shown, but now I am more into sailing. But, who knows? One day? ...
