Here is the thing with Kuro games. There is powercreep. But it takes a long time for them to implement it since the saying in PGR, "supports are dps." So you will never have complete Powercreep that has been seen from other games.
I mean, yes, you have mono element synergy, but you also have cross element synergy as well. They have elemental buffers as well as base attack and non elemental buffing characters.

Then mortefi buff charged attacks which makes him synergize across elements, then there verina who casting the Resonance Skill Botany Experiment, Resonance Liberation Arboreal Flourish or Outro Skill Blossom, buffs the attack of the characters in the team is increased by 20% for 20 seconds not element, it attack from verina buff
Have you considered that maybe attack buff and glacio damage buff are not valued the same :) Have you considered that the attack buff is for one person while the glacio buff is for the entire team :) Have you considered that the condition to get her attack buff can be not very particular. This is the case if her QTE since she has a very long on field requirment :) Have you considered that since she is a glacio character, OTHER character that also buff glacio TEAMWIDE will increase her own damage as well :) This is why this video is written as a team context ! And the most important part of this video is that ice team consists of these characters right now. Without an actual ice support ! And being a healer with a universal buff make baizhi a valuable supports, especialy in the ToA content because it require 3 teams, and by seing this short other people with less knowledge about her kit may not use her even if she will be valuable at the start for every teams.
I disagree on the synergy argument about I’ve only buffing ice synergy. Yuanwu is electro but he has absolutely nothing to do with electro comps. Verina is Spectro but she doesn’t buff only Spectro units. I see that you can mix and match the units however you like.

I think different characters of the same element released in the future will fulfill different niches. You're right. It's indeed similar to PGR. Amplifier only boost the same elemental damage as them, but in their amplifier skill they do buff attack to any character after switching. This happen also in WuWa. Support can buff any character's attack through outro skill, but not for elemental damage boost. Tho in WuWa there is also some echo that can give damage buff to other character, but still none for elemental damage buff.
Well, Baizhi indeed most suitable to use for Glacio Team. But, just to be clear, doesn't mean she can't be used in universal team. Since her outro, her skill, and her echo skill can buff the team. The only reason Mortefi is better than Alto is that Jiyan is uniquely suited to trigger all the fast hits required to max out Mortefi's coordinated attacks. This is where a lot of the comments are right that there are characters that buff so well regardless of the element. So an Aero Mortefi giving an elemental dmg buff instead of atk would be a significant powercreep for Jiyan but that wouldn't make current fusion Mortefi irrelevant at all. "Broken" echoes are a factor as well - an echo could be so good for a dps that it becomes more important than the character equipping it lol. I think the difference in WuWa is that the enemy mechanics are so diverse that a team can be powercrept in a general sense on paper, but specific bosses will require you change up your team/strategy anyway. Or people will discover unusual echo/weapon/character synergies either niche or universal that defy original design.

Not true at all. Fire Mortefi is supporting heavy attack units, which are not element specific. Sanhua, Jianxin, Yuanwu, etc. also are universal in their buffs.

WuWa will excell so much in combat and skill expression that the only reason you will replace a character with a stronger one is if you are trying to climb some kind of leaderboard.
powercreeping isnt reallly important in wuthering waves since its a skillbase game.. not like genshin.. and base of their first game PGR they implement "LEAP SYSTEM" where old characters will get skill and passive buff to keep up with the latest characters.. its not really gonna be as strong as newer unit buff they give them a helping hand for the character to still be viable.. and maybe in wuthering waves hey will implement system like that in the future

Benny is the best pyro dps. Each E my benny slaps in vape is 50k-200k depending on comp and abyss buff. His Q slaps 300-700k in the same scenarios. Xiangling is mid, and that's coming from someone with a top 50 Xiangling global
