A husband and wife, both detectives, volunteer to participate in a dangerous mission to stop a drug trafficking organization.
Set in the 1990s, The Worst of Evil follows undercover police investigators who infiltrate a massive criminal organization responsible for the illegal drug trade between Korea, China and Japan. Park Jun-Mo is a senior patrol police officer in the countryside who is constantly belittled by the in-laws for having a lower rank and career prestige than his wife, Yoo Eui-jeong, an elite member of the Security Division of the Seoul Metropolitan police. Despite this, his wife always stands up for him. Sick of being emasculated by his job, he accepts a deal as an undercover cop in the Gangnam organization so he can get a promotion that matches his wife's prestige.

Like how Euijong has feelings for Gi Cheol,Junmo is starting to enjoy Bibi`s character`s personality(not yet to the point where he`d love her,evident by the hotel scene),but enough to like how she accepts his transformation. You`ll see in the remaining episodes but he comes to like her genuinely,despite his situation,enough to want to protect her.
They're already ahead I believe in the show, but be careful not to mention spoilers as they've mentioned they don't want spoilers in the comments.

Haeryun is just way too likable, and I think despite Junmo feeling conflicted for his wife, during the date I think he also saw a charming side to Haeryun
And that Kiss scene, ain't no way Junmo wasn't enjoying all that lip biting 🤣

To be fair with the lying skill on the couple, Junmo a lot of times has to come up with a lie on the spot. Euijong because she often has more time to herself she has more time to come up with lies or ways to manipulate Gicheul. Cuz even in the beginning when she saw Junmo and Haeryun together, she wasn't able to control her facial expressions either.

Euijung gripping her knuckles cause she forcing herself to kiss Gicheul (its Wi Ha Joon first on screen kiss by the way) and Jungmo was basically assaulted there (he keep pushing her but Bibi wanted him like he is a glass of water and she is in a dessert). Overall, feel bad a bit for our cop couple
I don't think Euijjong is necessarily a better liar than Junmo, cuz everything she said in the car has some truth to it. She knows Gicheul and his past, so she knows what to say to manipulate him. Plus she's had more time to think of what to say. Let's not forget Junmo's approach to Gicheul of how he was someone angry seeking revenge instead of someone who wanted to join the gang, as well as using his dad's drug addiction as his reason for why he wants to be successful which he brought up again to keep up the act, the only thing is that Gicheul was suspicions regardless. The wife's involvement honestly made things harder for him.

Wife is not completely lying when it comes to her feelings for gicheol. She still have feelings for him and it's very evident. Whereas junmo is purely doing it for the mission. No feelings involved. He's trying everything to get himself out of a situation to cheat. It's all clinical for him. But not for his wife she's putting herself in situations and going head first when its not needed. So there is a huge difference between junmo and his wife and why it makes haeryun more likable than her.
