Yes! That's the way to use the Sphere!
I also use to tell people, fly THROUGH something or BELOW something, like under a bridge, or exactly as you did, through the lines of the excavator. I also tell people to NEVER zoom in. Always stay in a quite wide angle in post, and go wider instead of zooming in. For zoomed footage, it is better to use the drone's gimbal camera which can be used simultaneously during Sphere recordings, to complete the video later.

Hi! I have had a mini 2 for a year but I’m thinking of upgrading maybe summertime next year. I’m still not sure about the mini 3 or air 2s. Both are great but where I live the air 2s larger size and heavier weight is hugely important as it is very windy the majority of the time. I can’t fly my mini 2 as often as I’d like for this reason. So that’s why I’m leaning towards the air 2s. But the mini 3 just came out and it’s impressive. Also does the mini 3 48mp camera have a huge advantage over the 20mp camera of the air 2s. Overall to me the air 2s sounds great but the biggest thing is the mini 3 coming with the dji rc. What do you think I should go for it should I wait for possibly the air 2s replacement
