Blicq I’ve wanted them to play Ohio State all along even before they played Penn State. Think of it like Kentucky last year.
I'm a Gopher fan but on a neutral field, we lose by at least 2 TD's against OSU. They're having a great year, but we're not at that level yet.

YEAHH UMN!! I went there on exchange from the UK last year. Been a football fan before going to the US, but man college football is a different animal had such good time going to the games with my room mate, the atmosphere is incredible. Nice to see them doing so well

Usc had the number 1 class back in 15 and other top 10 classes and what did they do with them? You got your quarterback who you thought was better than justin fields and returning star at running back and a pretty good defense so why are you losing to south carolina? Minnesota beat penn state so they can definitely hang with top talent. Send the top 10 to play at Minnesota this Saturday and see if Minnesota doesn't beat the majority of them.

Great victory for the Golden Gophers!! Congrats!! As a Buckeye fan, it is great to see Minnesota getting some respect and I have major respect for PJ Fleck. Building the program back up. Love the energy there. Reminds me of THE GAME last fall when the underdog buckeyes built momentum and energy from making a few plays and from the crowd. Could our teams be in Indianapolis together??? Go Bucks!!

Penn State has yet to play 4 quarters. Defense couldn't cover/tackle all day. Minnesota deserved this win
College football in my opinion is much better than the NFL.
I saw the gophers play at old Hughes stadium (fort Collins CO). Minnesota fans were classy and a huge contingent.minn beat CSU that day.

Minnesota should be ranked over Bama this week. They beat a top 4 team, their schedule isn't a cupcake, they are most likely to play Ohio State in the Big 10 title. Bama, meanwhile, isn't a divisional champ and they have yet to beat any good teams this season

If you aren't factoring in the eye test and only going by strength of schedule/wins, then yes. Factoring in the eye test, Minnesota shouldn't even be top 10.
I don’t wanna take away from Minnesota because this was a good win, but Penn State is completely overrated every single year. Never should’ve been top 5.
Going in to this weekend Bama had the worst opponent win percentage of all power 5 schools. Eye test is one thing but as soon as they were tested by a good LSU team their mediocre defense was exposed. Now penn state is no LSU, but the gophers showed with this win that they can stand up against solid opponents. It’s time to give them the respect they deserve, put them above Bama and give them a shot at the playoffs.

Borderline at best. Incidental most likely, considering the pass wasn't even intended for him. The expired play clock was a lot more obvious, and not called either, which directly resulted in a score.

Minnesota couldn't move the ball the entire second half. Penn St should've won this game, kick the fg, kick the extra point and they win the game with a walk-off fg even with all the other lucky stuff that Minnesota got.
