- My home made surron x is finally done and today I talk about if upgrading a Surron is worth it. This is my favorite Surron upgrade under $25.

Are you gonna post an update video soon, or even a post? I understand you are probably very busy and you may not have the most time in the world, but I really enjoy watching your videos, and after watching all of them so many times, I am ready for something new, so please post another video.
I’ve got a stock Surron w a 16/19 setup and a few other little stuff but the best thing I did was the master cylinders. I put a set of shimano xt series levers and masters and they make the stock calipers perform just as good if not batter than all other caliper upgrades.

i have a segway 160, i want to upgrade the battery and controller to a surron x. should i just do the battery? or should i do the controller too

I'm thinking about buying the Segway x160 as a commuting bike, benefit is I can take it offroad and have a little fun. Probably upgrade the battery for some more range between charges.
Just a talaria mx4 best bang for the buck. Don’t bother with the Segway versions
@Edwin Olding, what kind of stuff do you mean starts braking once you upgrade power wise the sur ron ? Im interested in upgrading myself but I hadnt thought or heard of brakes/failures.
The power puts more stress on everything and bigger wheels/tires really brake stuff!

bro so I had the x160 upgraded to the 260, was afraid my stock x160 motor wasn't gonna hold up to a 60v battery with a stock x controller glad your running a bac4000 on it to calm my nerves lmfaoooo

You don’t want to run the brake line behind the number plate like that because you want it to move with the suspension. That can cause the brake line to bend too much when the forks compress. Also- the percentage read out on a bypassed battery is not accurate.. just fyi you can no longer trust the battery percentage on the bypassed batteries… they read higher capacity than they have.

KO for the win. I have the KO Motor/Controller combo with a Chi Gladiator 60 Max (60ah) and it is a beast. I even went back to a 48 tooth, and have hit 72MPH on the 60 volt...

I have a downhill mountain bike and I've found that the best brakes are magura mt5s they're pretty good price compared to the mt8s or 7s but that number plate looks really good.

Funny how these bikes would make ideal urban commuters as well if it wasn't for legislation.
All the advantages of a motorcycle except quieter, lighter, cleaner, easier to use, the only real issue is range (an price, if compared to a honda navi). Makes me wonder why people are so obsessed with tesla but not this.
