Hello. Have you built this model?
I am a beginner modeler, bought this model 2 years ago. I can't find a video on assembly anywhere. I don't know what parts to glue on. Cannon, engine judging by the photos are taken out of the model (I assembled them painted, transmission too). Could you please suggest a forum or video on how to assemble this model? Thanks

Thanks for the vid but leave it out with the box and get on with it. Going to buy one now and that's your fault. Means no food for my wife .

It's an armored skirt designed to blunt the effectiveness of Russian recoilless rifles. Spaced armor was worthless in WW2 outside of this purpose because the skirts weren't thick enough to trigger the action on hostile shells meaning the shell would still penetrate the tank before exploding outwards.
Germans didn't use recoilless rifles thus neither the Allies nor the Soviets needed them.

Hi Darren, this kit looks very comprehensive. It definitely seems like a challenge to build and paint up nice. Not quite my level yet but it is inspiring. Thanks for sharing
