hi, yes the bot was option that was available in Make at that time, I have not played with this recently so I am not sure what the options are now. You might want to check out the latest triggers in Make.
That greatly depends on what files you would be saving. Definitely do not open files from unknown sources. Make and API connection - that is all good and tested.
