    This is the best video I've seen explaining framing a foundation of a shed. I'm only halfway through it, but I feel like I understand "why" things are done a certain way, which I haven't gotten from the 10 or so other shed building vids I've watched today lol.

    Man, I've watched, subscribed, and followed hundreds of videos/people on CZcams for DIY. I've never left a comment. But buddy, you earned it. So well done on everything. The smaller models, the explanation, the little tips, not assuming people know stuff, not monologuing about who you are, etc. Just giving the portions what they came for in great detail, but quickly...     Good job. Explanations were very clear. Many folks don’t always know how to module out different materials, especially if you are trying to save money by eliminating material waste. Given the price of lumber these days. Thanks for sharing.

    Fantastic! I only to build a much smaller shed for a power washer, shredder, and a mulcher which are too much for my garden shed. I have enough leftover wood from a house being built near me. Using this new knowledge I can build this to withstand the weather and look attractive at the same time.

    Terrific instruction. Very logical, teaching bite sizes is the way to go. I know the videos are a lot of work but it shows in the end product! Looking at doing a 8x10 with barn boards, same structural as you provided...I hope. Looking forward to your other vids!!! Tx from Canada!!!

    As a general rule your 8 foot sheet runs perpendicular to your floor Joist
    Depending on your geographical location you should have a minimum of 6 inches to masonry from grade or 8 inches for wood if not you need to leave drainage around the shed or structure to minimize the potential rot issues that’s why you use lime stone or gravel to keep the moisture away from structure
    Love the shingle shim that’s a great idea issues with termites I suspect you’re in the southern part of the United States if you’re in the northern part you need to worry about frost hence your gravel good video man well done
