Simple, cheap, fun, the essence of flight and an airplane that helped me learn a lot. Even though I don't fly it that often, my Hobbyzone Champ is always great to fly.
Yes, it was great for building confidence, bigger planes were intimidating to me, still are, but this one was a good way to fly without being worried I will damage something or hurt someone 😄
That's a very cool mod for attaching the wing, Alex. I really enjoy flying my Champ (and its competitor, the ZT Sky Cub) as it's a refreshing reconnection with my early experiences both with the hobby since I got into it again, but also the dim and distant past of flying rubber powered models in the family garden.
Mine only had a couple of bad crashes, that magnet mod really helped. But I think the extra weight even if just a few grams does have a toll on performance.
I never got to fly one, but I do own the hobbyzone sport Cub S2 bnf it's close, but a 4 channel with ailerons and appears to fly about the same very kool mirco airplane's. PEACE ✌️ ☮️
Hello friend 👋, I return again with my videos and when visiting your channel I observed this accident.😮 You cannot leave your car on the airport runway.😂😂
Hey friend! Good to have your videos back, I saw but didn't have time to watch it yet. Yes, I need to learn to park somewhere else. And probably block the runway so no one else passes 😄
love these little planes, so much fun 👍👍😀😀
Yup. Just a basic 3 channel plane, doesn't get much simpler than that.
Looks like a great plane to learn on.

Nice model & looks easy to fly. Well flown👍
Thanks!
Old but cool plane💪😉✅️
Nice idea with the magnets 🧲 👌
Thanks friend!

You're welcome my Good Friend ❤

Indeed, a blast from the past for me as well every time I fly it. And the magnet mod although I think saves it from damage when I crash it.
Alex, I crashed and repaired my Champ so much I think it had more glue than foam when I retired it. My UMX TT has taken its place now. Good video Alex

A great little plane for kids (big and small)😊
That's true. In fact I just remembered this is the first one I flew with my son, he was only about 2 and a half then.
Its adorable
Yeah, cute little thing 😁

The sport cub seems even better, haven't flown one but I'm sure ailerons help a lot.
