Kinnauri Fulyach Mela 2021 | Rupi Ukhyang 2021 | Festival of Flowers 🌹

Fulyach means 'Festival of flowers' which is the most famous festival of Kinnaura Tribes in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, India.
Also known as 'Ukhyang' , this festival is celebrated throughout Kinnaur in different times from August to October.
Local deities also participate in this festival along with the people and many customs and rituals are associated with it.
Women generally participate in their traditional attire ( Dhohru--Woollen Saari, Cholti etc) with jewellery (Kanta, Tarmani, Pitu-shangnang ).
Kayang, a dance form of Kinnaur is performed and people dance, sing and enjoy in this festive period.
In kinnaur, it's first celebrated in Rupi village and subsequently in other villages.
फूलैच का अर्थ है फूलों का त्यौहार ।इस त्यौहार को “उख्यांग” के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।जिसमें ‘उ’ का अर्थ है फूल और ख्यांग का अर्थ है देखना।अर्थात फूलो की ओर देखना।यह त्यौहार भाद्रपद मास (अगस्त एवं सितम्बर) के महीने में किन्नौर के भिन्न स्थानों में अलग-अलग समय मनाया जाता है।
फूलैच मेले की शुरुआत किन्नौर मैं सवर्प्रथम #रूपी गाँव मे देवता श्री #टेरस__नारयण जी की आज्ञा के अनुसार की जाती है| उसके बाद फिर पूरे किन्नौर में धीरे धीरे मनाया जाता है |
फूलैच के अवसर पर पूरा दिन लोग पारम्परिक बेशभूषा में स्थानीय वाद्य यंत्रों तथा लोकगीतों की धुन पर लोकनृत्य “क्यांग” का आनंद लेते हैं।
