Even 3on3 in OT during the regular season has become boring and stupid. They need to make a rule that once you cross the opponents blue line you can't retreat past center anymore. That might fix it.
5 on 5 is just as boring if not more so. No All Star game in any sport is gonna be anything other then Baseball as at least that's still the same exact game as they play during the regular season. Don't see pitchers only throwing 70mph and not throwing breaking balls just to give hitters a chance to tie off and have a high scoring game. Even when it was 5 on 5 players still didn't hit so it was nothing but guys just skating around all free with no energy to any of it. Same with NBA All Star game where nobody plays any defense at all. And then in the NFL you don't have blitzing.
If Giroux does get traded at the deadline imagine how dangerous the Avs would be with him in their lineup, probably only cost them a couple draft picks.
If Tampa rents him for the playoffs they would definitely be able to take on Colorado in the Finals. I doubt the Rangers will try because Philly won't want to do a solid for a longtime rival but Giroux and Kreider would be awesome together. Again, I doubt anyone would sign him long term, I think Giroux will retire a Flyer.

NHL All-Star Game is a joke. 3 on 3 based on 4 Divisional teams. What ever happen to the regular all star game I used to enjoy. 5 on 5 West vs East All-Star Game

Jordan Eberle with a whopping 26 points this season. Tied for 129th. Definitely an all-star.
Cool for that millionaire
Can name at least a dozen guys that should've went before this dude
Tkachuk over eberle
Probably because he’s on the Kraken and it’s new team
John Gibson standing on his head even in the all star game. Like clockwork for that dude

Mistake not to have Zegras play in this game. He would have gone crazy with all the free ice.
Demko looking down the ice and seeing a familiar sight, his team overpassing and then losing possession and giving up an odd-man rush.

Tom Wilson now with two Championships in Vegas. LOL.
