I first heard this when I got the cassette single of "I can't Help Falling In Love With You" single in 1993 when I was 16 and just licensed to drive. My sister and I popped this into the tape deck of my Mom's car as we were driving back from the mall, and our minds were blown by this B side track.
I swear...this just made my whole life. I got this single when I was younger, and ended up playing the B side just as much. Thank ya! That der love der coulda never end. :)
I was listening to this song so much that one day, while driving down the highway @ about 70 mph, my wife literally threw this tape out the window:) John A. Tatoian Esq.
I also came across this by sheer chance - back in '99, when I did a stint in a charity shop. The then manager allowed me to take home anything I wanted and someone dropped the cassette of this in...I remember an interview with UB40 members yrs back saying how they liked the Jungle sound, being mainly Reggae stars and how the 2 have crossed paths over the yrs....so when I saw the B Side to their hit record was called Jungle Love I took a chance to my surprise it was this Hardcore-orientated tune
This is awesome - my sister and I used to drive my mom's car around with this blasting. I just bought the "Falling in Love" UB40 single cd on eBay and it includes this song!
Ha.....first DnB song I ever heard. Considering it's all I listen to now, it's nice to know where it started.....back in 93 when I was 15. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find this tune outside of buying the single offa eBay or Amazon.
and I hadn't heard this back in '93 - because I simply didn't follow UB40. Yrs on I still don't know what to make of it...it's a bit cheesy in places but it mainly stays true to the sound that was circulating back then...it has some nice riffs that crop up in it too; quite underground sounding...and the break is typical, if nothing outstanding...overall a surprise inclusion into their back catalogue.....EEEEEEY! (Or whatever it is someone keeps chanting on it...)
thanks for uploading this! I must of listened to this tune about 10-15 times a day when I was 12 years old. I came across this tune by chance when my dad, a massive ub40 fan, bought the single and wondered what this shit was on the b side!
I am laughing at these post because we are all saying the same thing. Discovered this track on the can’t help....single on cassette. Awesome, thank you....all smiles
Used to play this in the village pub all the time probably the only tune I liked, but what a find though, I don’t even like ub40 really! It’s the title that caught my eye.Did not like pop at all and still don’t.48 and still love the sound of the underground.raver/Junglist till I die.People don’t believe me when I tell them ub40 had a jungle techno B side, could not tell you what the A side was.👍👍

Here in the US, this was put on the "Higher Ground" single, along with "Chronic", its own B-side. So we got 2 for 1.
Found on Discogs.
