Kimi, today still the last World Champion driving for Ferrari. That shows what underrated he is. Alonso, which is supossed to be better could not achieve this. So I think that there can not be such a difference between this two guys.
@windfall No, not at all. Alonso was leading these Championshing cause (as almost always) cause realiability issues from other drivers. Otherwise he would not have any chance to win any Championship with Ferrari.
0:44 it is just astonishing how early he is on the throttle, Kimi just turns his car and hits the throttle well before the apex and gains a lot of time in the corner exit, that's why he hates understeer because he can't hit that throttle early and has to wait until the car turns and loses that juicy tenths and hundredths. That is why he didn't unlock his potential in the second stint in Ferrari where the car is dogshit and understeers as hell.(2018 the car balance changed to a slight bit of oversteer that's why he performed quite well outperforming Vettel in the second half).

Is it me, or does that 2008 Ferrari has somewhat diffrent red on it compared to other years?
Yes, this era of ferrari's ran with a darker and more crimson looking "ferrari red" as opposed to the more Marlboro orange of the Schumacher era.
