  • Had a discussion in one post about a wobbling (moving around) chuck on gear assembly. So....we decided to make a video about that.
    Normally it`s problem of ball bearing. It`s two ball bearing on gear assembly in BDF456 and they are 6800ZZ. You can replace them and chuck assembly will by good again.

    I watched your video with great interest...thank you for posting it! I realize how valuable your time is in repairing tools for professional workers, who need to have their tools back in perfect working order, as soon as possible. I would have liked to learn how to reassemble the gear assembly, however; there are steps that are critical to doing this process as well as the proper lubrication of the planetary segments. Thanks again for sharing your extensive skills!

    Bravo, finally someone showed how to fix it without replacing the expensive gear !!! The gearbox in Milwakuee is more than three times more expensive than in Makita, it is not profitable to replace the gearbox.

    I just bought the white combokit and it was with brushed motors. I was really surprised about the power this small machine had and are really satisfied. Glad i did not pay the extra for brushless since this have more than enough power for me.

    • @7ann3
      @7ann3 Před 4 lety

      I think if i have the need of more power then i bring my generator and use my corded tools instead of abusing my makitas. I think, even if they have the strength everything around the machine must be able to handle that strength. When it comes to heavy stuff i rather use my pneumatic or corded tools instead of abuse this fine machines winch i love when i am working in a machine, loosing bolts and so on.

    is there way to improve run out on keyless chuck drill? If you were to buy a replacement chuck is there a chance it could have less run out or is the issue deeper with the bearings, drill construction, fixings. If there was a way to reduce run out for reasonable cost I'd love to know. Although hand drills aren't precise instruments I'm still unhappy with my Makita run out wobble
