This is a Minecraft datapack showcase of a datapack named Village Guards Datapack. It is made by SAMEER_99. Village Guard is a very big datapack which adds extra defense for your village. Village Guards hate zombies and pillagers and spawn with iron golem. Player can also make their own guard called Brutal Guard.

I'm actually interested in the Datapack...
I still got a few questions, that i would love to get answered:
1. Is it compatible with the latest Minecraft version currently (1.19.3)
2. Can you use it on a Server?
3. Can you create your own Village with Village Guardians?
4. Any kind of way to make Village Guardians friendly to specific Players? (example: similar to taming animals like dogs, so they attack other Players aswell)
4.1 Is it possible to create a maximum value of Village Guardians? (example: just 3 Village Guardian per Village Radius)

Hello, this is the datapack developer.
1. Yes, it is compatible with all versions above 1.17.1
2. Yes you can. Install it, the same way you do it in singleplayer world.
3. Yes. All you need to do is make an Iron Golem naturally spawn. "Player spawned golem will not work". If the golem naturally spawns (NEAR ANY VILLAGER), then it will spawn with extra guards.
4. There's no way to do this in survival. With cheats, you can give "Hero of the Village" effect to that player. These guys will never ever attack the player with that effect.
4.1 This is currently not a feature in the datapack, but its a great idea. I can add it sooner in the datapack.
