im am totally taking notes for use on Lincoln Hawk!
DUDE! Yes!!!!
Drop Lincoln Hawk off down there for a month so they can build it for you, You heard your wife, get that BOAT DONE!! These guys are Pro's!!
Erin, You are so incredibly positive, it is a joy watching you and Erin interact, You are both truly blessed.
I used to be an RV tech and would suggest looking into putty tape for under your sky light and Dicor lap sealant for over the edges and screw holes. That stuff is self leveling and is amazing. Food for thought will last a lot longer then silicone. We always went by the rule that anything on the roof gets Dicor and anything on the sides gets silicone.
this guy! i just commented the same thing (Transit Bus technician, Forest river also makes our stuff lol )
6:11 I'm a Journeyman Machinist with 40 years experience. That steel bit to protect cutting thru the aluminum is genius! I wouldn't have thought of that.
In the future, look into using butyl tape instead of silicone. It's much better than silicone and is used on boats. You can find it at your big box hardware store
Fun to watch two (married) people work so well together. What a team!
I work out here in the Gulf of Mexico on a oil rig and I really do enjoy getting off work after a long 12 hours and watching y’all’s videos
While you all are up there, I would put a coat of RV roof paint on ....the roof. The stuff is like a rubber membrane and will seal up all the new screws and such.
Henry 887 Tropi-cool
Your enthusiasm makes me smile
Can I just say I love how u do everything with a smile...love you guys projects..from New zealand 👌👍
Fun project to follow. Keep having fun.
Finley, you're providing great moral support.
Reflectix on the ceiling.. Love it!!!
I like how you guys go thru each phase of your project. You really show the audience that hard work and perseverance pays off!
A little surprised not to see any sealant around the window on the outside. Hope it seals well without. Great job you are doing on that trailer. It's going to be really super.
Yes i missed than Good Eye👍
I would fathom a guess and say no sealer because they probably have to come out to do the wrap when its ready.
Butyl tape was not used anywhere! Should have been used for the skylights as well and dicor self leveling lap sealant on top.
Also note the windows open the wrong direction so whether drive down the road in the rain they will leak
Aaron is quite the handy fella, and of course you Emily are a bad ass. I would say he is a lucky man but I think you both are lucky :) love seeing your guys videos an how much you have progressed over the years.
Well said.
turned out awesome. looks great . ROXY GTO , will fit perfect in side too really good job..
GREAT work Aaron 👍
That's pretty cool Old Dominion delivered your stuff, since I work for that company.Hope the driver was an awesome guy.
The windows, walls, floors turned out awesome 👍. Nice work.
Great progress being made. Finlay is an awesome supervisor keeping you both on your toes.
Love your videos but most of all the little girl is a gift from god. Keep smiling
Thanks.
Thats looking good. Can't wait to see more of the camper. It aways good when things just click and then so hard just to stop working . Ya have a great weekend 🙂
Also on the sky lights
Trailer is looking great. Looks like a fun project.
This channel is awesome! You get a bit of everything cars boats custom built car hauler. It's like a box of chocolate you never know what you're going to get.
That trailer is looking better every episode! Very impressive!
I always have a great time watching you guys. Excited to see more of the progress.
Having a brand new plush trailer is very nice and easy! But there is something about having an older trailer that has good bones that you own outright and customizing it your own way! Looks great you guys!
Triple thumbs up you guys!! What a ton of work!!
Looks great keep up the good work.😎
Great results. Everything's looking good. Love this couple
Trailer looks great!! Nice seeing you two working together and having fun.
I love this project! Ya'll are doing a KICK ASS job! Can't wait to see the rest of it.
For the insulation if you taped up construction paper you could have used chalk or pencil to press up against the metal frame to imprint the dimensions. Did for thought for next time. Love y'alls videos.
Always a good day when I open my computer and find a new FSG video!!! :)
Always an uplifting time watching you two. Thx for sharing
Awesome work on the bedroom. Better leave out any Hanky Panky, until you've got some covers for the new picture windows, as you don't want to shock the neighbours. 😇
Nice work guys! It’s looking awesome!
looking really good.. always want to keep going when things go good.. enjoy
Nice work guys. It's not even my trailer but I'm excited too. I love those windows and your colour choice of panelling is perfect and really sensible to keep it from being too dark inside.
Huge progress! Nice job!
You two work so well together.
Love the windows. Love the paneling. And of course, Love Emily!
Y'all's kick ass teamwork is always a pleasure to watch. I don't always agree but I always enjoy. Keep 'em coming!
Nice to see it going together !
Looking great. Hoping I can build one someday soon. Keep the awesome videos coming!!
I would recommend putting in a Max Fan in the sealing it will make a big difference drawing the heat out
You guys really know you're stuff. I'm always impressed with your versatility. Cars, boats and construction stuff. Love the videos. I always learn something.
Looking gooooood!
Getting the windows in is always an exciting accomplishment, yet stressful. Dicor/butyl tape is your friend for sealing the windows and skylights. Thru-the-roof is great for sealing any holes thru the exterior also... Lookin' great!
Absolutely beautiful job!!!!
Clearly up’d your b-roll and videography game. Well done. Keep up the great work as always.
Cranking along guys! Looks good!
Looks nice, fun project to follow along and watch !
Great job,all the best to both of you from UK
You guys are awesome. Enjoy all your content and totally blown away with your work ethic. You two are the ultimate team!! Cheers from Austin....Tom
Like it. Make sure to get some RV vent and sky light insulation pillows, you won't regret it.
Cant wait to see it finished
I miss having a doggo so much. It's been ...20 years? Since we had one. LOVE doggies!
IT MUST B HARD BEIN SOOO KOOL!!! FINLEY IZ AWESOME SHOP DAWWGGY..KEEP ON ROCKN..GOD BLESS US ALL..
Another cracking video clip, you guys are totally awesome. I get loads of enjoyment watching you guys working together and achieving so much success & positivity, keep it up & thank you. Best regards Peter, from the UK.👍😁👍
Ithink I see a future for you in renovating trailers; nice job so far!
Absolutely addicted to the cargo trailer/car hauler conversation. I have been gathering ideas for a couple years and still waiting for the right trailer to come my way.
Same. Im doing one now. Love it.
Looking pretty awesome in there!
Ya'll are doing a great job cant wait antil its finished great job great video
Looks awesome so far!
I’m afraid you guys should have put down the subfloor before you installed the stick on floors. Just my opinion. Without the subflooring they may pop lose in a little time.
My favorite CZcams couple that works great together on most anything! You guys are absolutely fantastic! I love y’all!
I seriously doubt that there’s not much of anything left that you two cannot accomplish together!
Y'all are doing such a great job and I wish I could help you, I love doing this type of construction, if it were me I'd have went with a 36" shower but you'll get used to it. Those big windows were a great find, almost perfect for the opening. Y'all are so blessed. Cheers from Jacksonville Florida 🌞
This teamwork that I need
I love this project but how are you gonna waterproof the underside of that high dollar plywood y'all put in the nose/bedroom?
Was wondering the same thing. Would have thought treated marine plywood would be a better choice to handle moisture intrusion long term.
May not be a four car hauler some other CZcamsr bought a few weeks back, but I like the shape yours is taking. Cant wait to see it when you finish it up.
Don't forget to think about AV equipment/Lighting inside and out. Indoor/outdoor speakers, LED lighting inside and out, maybe ground effect lighting :D Maybe an awning that can be retracted to serve as extra space in the pits. Thanks for sharing the project!
Hi guys ,its hard to watch the video with all that cuteness walking around .Emily, puppy dog ,niece, and my wife even says Aron.
Loved this video, keep up the great work
it is looking good..keep going..!
The trailer looks good. You may want to make one of the roof vents and escape hatch. Keep the Sparks Flying.
My power tools are also Porter Cable, but 20 VDC cordless.
Awesome attention to detail there guys have been watching your channel because you own an Aussie Monaro then the boat now that trailer revamp I’m an avid camper here in Australia keep up the great content guys love ❤️ from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺
Rec-pro makes a good window. You might have been better off with Torque style windows (If they had them to sell). They work better in driving rain and typically offer more airflow. But at $299.00 I don't think you hurt yourselves. Make sure you install them with the Picture side forward and the Slider slide to the rear! Driving in the rain will make the window a RAM AIR for water-entry. (I've worked in RV's for 40 years)
It's coming along nicely 👍👍🇨🇱
Great job, I had put the electric fan vent sky lights in my motor home, it made a huge difference when the air conditioning isn’t running and to take cooking smell and humidity out
We thought about those but because our windows open so nicely, we decided to save money!
Use flex seal on roof , I did that on my 44 ft goose neck race car trailer and on my 36 ft fifth wheel camper 5 years now never have to caulk it and no leaks , the stuff is great
I'm loving this build! My dream is to buy a clapped out RV and modernise it to MY liking... oh, and a few project cars too. Once the kids Are older, it's ON! Keep up the great work, love channel.
I opened up my laptop half an hour ago and I've been totally absorbed with this episode. You've reminded me of the joy of working on a project on a bright spring day with your 'best beloved'! Thank you for letting us share. Over here in the UK it looks as though our caravan won't be getting any outings for a while as we're not allowed to go across the channel...... Hi hum! Love from Blighty... XXX
Nicely done!
Awesomeness guys looking good. That trailer roof needs a good anti mould an a water blast prier to any silicone state the obvious lol 🤣 keep up the awesomeness 🙏
Fan-tastic or similar vent fan in the sleeping area will come in clutch in the summer if you don’t plan on running A/C all the time.
Really good job yall are doing! Lilly is so cute!
Nice work on trailer 👌
Awe skeet skeet! 😂 Y’all did a great job!
Emily, you didn't finish singing that song. 9:56 "For the window and the walls..." 🤣🤣😂😁 ILSHIFOMC
It's "to the windows and the walls, and sweat run down my..." 🤣
Absolutely beautiful
Also add eterna bond tape over that skyline will seal those holes way better than just what u put on make sure u heat the back of the tape for a positive seal
Great work !
Hello Emily the trailer is looking great.
Love this project!
remember to calculate vacuums and interior air pressures on big trailers --whole windows can be blown or sucked out at speed??
I love watching you guys
Emily and Aaron, if you're cutting sheets of ply, it is easier to use a track (usually a flat of aluminium) to make sure it's straight. I had a couple of Festo saws for this a few years ago for trimming.
Dang that trailer is going to be sweet!
