Yes, I have also undergone this kind of paralysis like intruder in the bedroom and I am unable to move. My upper nd lower limbs are paralysed nd i am trying my best to move nd to scream out loud for help but I am helpless. This situation lasts for more than two minutes. It's horrible nd i feel like the intruder will kill me and I won't be able to tell someone 😥

I literally just had a small episode of this. My arms and body went numb and i felt as if i was "falling down into something". Then i felt an entity behind me (at the side of my bed). I sensed it was a woman. She had evil intentions but i actually fought back against this entity even though i was feeling overwhelmed with fear. I was angry about being attacked. Eventually my symptoms subsided and i felt "normal" again. So strange :|. Ive never had that happen before.

I've been having sleep paralysis since 2008.im friends with my demons now.lol
I usually breathe deep and come out of it ,if I struggle then the episode lasts longer.
My top 3 episodes through out the years :
1.once I was sleeping after having a very long tiring day and I got the episode and I was so tired ,I was like "fuck off,not today,I'm so tired today " and it just went away.lol .some Mind games 🤷‍♀️
2.a woman seated near my leg, covered in black, shes nt tryna hurt me,but she's just seated there.lol annoying.
3.i was resting on a man,he was holding me from behind,I cud see his arms ,but not his face obviously ,so he was telling me to take deep breaths and help me get out of the sleep paralysis
This was the most weird one.someone tryna help me.lool

Sleep paralysis is pretty scary if you ever experienced it. You literally can't distinguish dream from reality anymore. Had it happened to me twice before and to this day, I still sleep with my nightlight on. I am still unsure of what I experienced. Part of me be giving myself a scientific explanation while the other part still terrify and confuse whenever I think about it. The shadow felt so real.

I have experienced sleep paralysis multiple times. All the experiences were when I was about to sleep and the worst part is that I always felt it coming and knowing the horror that awaited me. There was this time that it happened when I was sleeping on my stomach, my face pressed against my pillow and couldn't breath. The double horror of me hallucinating and thoughts of me dying was devastating. The levitation made me think that I had already kicked the bucket. ha ha ha.

I also feel it coming, and that’s why it’s soo hard to believe that my brain alone is capable of doing this to me😂, there must be a demonic presence and it goes away when I call Jesus or when I move my fingers. 😅 the only thing is I have to realise that I’m in a dream and relax and focus on moving my fingers or praying, otherwise if I didn’t realise, I’ll scream till my husband wakes me up😂

I've gone through this so many times that I already mastered the trick and let me share it with you:
    1. You are conscious, so you can keep calm by telling yourself "It's not real it's all an illusion"
    2. Instead of trying so hard to wake up try to go back to sleep instead and after a few moments you will wake up in a calm state instead of waking up out of breath and with your heart beating out of your chest.
    You're welcome 😊

One of the few times ive had sleep paralysis... Oh boy it wasnt fun. I woke up, immediately realized i couldn't move. I shut my eyes tight, I do NOT let myself see the demons cuz fuck that, but imagine the sound a blanket makes when you rub it with your finger. Imagine that, but really far away. Suddenly, it gwts progressively closer and closer, louder and louder. Oh, did i forget to mention it sounded like something was crawling across my bed? Btw that something must have had hundreds of legs based on the sound it made, right on top of me. Nothing on earth, no amount of people i like liking me back, money, or anything could have made me open my eyes at that moment. Nothing.

I had sleep paralysis once a few months ago. I couldn’t move and when I tried to talk my words were slurred. My mom who doesn’t live with me was coming into my room and saying very weird and creepy things. I then heard something like a demon saying indistinguishable things to me. I then said, “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ”. That was the only thing I was able to say it clearly. It instantly stopped and it hasn’t happened again.

I have had sleep paralysis about twice a week for 35 years. It can be terrifying not to be able to regain control. My hallucinations when I was young were the typical demons but now I'm completely aware of what I am experiencing I get more familiar hallucinations. Like seeing a family member talk to me when I know they aren't there.
I have trained my partner to look for the signs and shake me. I try and scream and he hears a small noise and he shakes me. He has videoed me a few times. It's creepy. Eyes completely aware but paralysed. The hallucinations are usually a combination of what is in the room with a layer of hallucination.

i am 76 now but in my early 30"s it happened 3 times, looking back i believe now it was caused by stress i was going through due to my marriege breaking up.I felt i was awake but was completely unable to move any part of my body,i could see the bedroom ceiling and walls but could not move to see more,i was screaming in fear, also one of the times the shadow of a black cat on the wall, when i awoke i was covered in sweat and woke my wife and kept on asking her "Did you not hear me screaming, she answered What? not at all. we did have a black cat who often prowled around house.other 2 times happened a yr or so later when i was alone. Its the most dreadful feeling imaginable being awake but unable to move your body.also around these times out of body experiance just once but it was incredible and not a bad feeling i felt being lifted towards a light beam with a fab electrical type feeling in my body,i feeling of peace, after just a short while i felt being going down, the time was mid afternoon when i went to have a lay down as i had a broken leg and was unable to work.i have never taken any drugs so that is ruled out.No stress since in my life so thats the reasoning i believe that these eposodes occur.

I have had sleep paralysis for years, involving visual, auditory and tactile hallucinations.
My advice to you when it happens again during one of your nights is to first become aware that you are experiencing sleep paralysis. Once you realize this, it may calm you down: you realize that everything that happens in the next few minutes (which sometimes seem like an eternity) is unreal and can't really hurt you.
Afterwards, don't try to fight this sleep paralysis. The more you fight to stop it, the more you will see that it doesn't work and that you can't get out of this paralysis just by screaming, unlike a typical nightmare. So the more you move or scream, the more scared you will become, and it's a vicious circle.
Instead, keep your eyes closed. You will be much less likely to see anything like visual hallucinations if you keep them closed all the way through. You may feel auditory and tactile hallucinations, so think of them as pleasant sensations. Yes, imagine it's like someone is having a massage! The touch, which scares you at first, will become more pleasant and you will be less afraid.
Without even realizing it, a few moments later, you will fall back into a normal and pleasant sleep.
Also, being a Muslim, sometimes, when this happened to me, I would recite the call to prayer (named Adhan). I don't want to go into hypotheticals, that is far from my intention. It was just something I did personally from time to time. When I did it, I would feel the presence that was there was afraid, it would scream and it would start to disappear, and then I would wake up calmly afterwards.

Ask for help from God or Arch-angel Michael. You will be relieved in a second from that sleep paralysis. Put that in your sub-consiouss and you will witness the power of God that release you in a second! All you have to do is ask. While you're at it ask to arch-angel Michael to put that entity or whatever put you in that state to bring that being into the light. So the attack next day won't happen again. These are all caused by entities. Put that armour of God inside you. When it happens to you just make a little prayer. Know that you will be always helped if you ask for it

Sleep paralysis is terrifying but as time passes by you get used to it. I had to deal with it alone. My first experience was in my teens and my parents told me to just pray, so I did. Only to realize it was futile because I would suffer multiple sleep paralysis in one night. I don't perceive sleep paralysis as a negative thing. I got rid of my fear of darkness and ghosts🤷🏻‍♀️ it's normal to be afraid since the amygdala/fear response gets activated. You learn to control your way of thinking. I know hallucinations can't harm me and they aren't real. To be honest, I enjoyed it. It feels like a 4D/realistic horror movie. Who wouldn't want to experience flying?... while being chased by a grim reaper😅

  • @Elias-hy5ps
    @Elias-hy5ps Před 3 lety +8

I experienced sleep paralysis in 2009.
It all started when I started my literal quest to find out if God really does save, and I started praying every day and reading the Bible.
That's when I was demonically attacked daily for a period of 9 months. I couldn't tell anyone or call the police because nobody even knows that exists. Sleep paralysis is most definitely brought on by lack of sleep/stress etc which I was going through crazily, and the devil that is Satan decided to attack at my weakest moment.
It all started one night; and I just woke up at like 3 am and to my shock my alarm clock radio had a strange static noise that turned into an actual voice. This voice was dark and heavy and it was speaking a language I've never heard, and I realized I couldn't move, I couldn't even flinch a toe, but my eyes were open and I was awake and I was fully aware.
Accompanying this strange ominous voice literally coming out of my alarm clock radio as I was paralyzed I also felt a strong presence of evil like nothing from this world that I could not compare to, scarier than any horror movie or any legend or loire, more menacing than the worst serial killer. A real demonic spirit. It was the actual presence of evil, and I knew that I was locked into a moment of horror and fear over being confronted by a real demon, an agent of Satan himself that wants me dead.
After that it more or less became a nightly thing, and the demons would torment me in any way they could even while I was awake I saw demons in random people walking around, and dark shadows in the shape of a human.
My nightly horrors were plagued by a faceless creature that haunted my dreams, it was like something out of the hollywood Freddy Crugar but only real life.
One time I was in this dream and immediately I consciously said to myself in the dream; "You are dreaming"... So I acknowledged that I was dreaming, and I also already felt the presence of whatever demon was inside the dream waiting for me. By that point without even seeing any figure, I just exclaimed outloud: "Are you Satan?" And no sooner than the words left my mouth I fell to the ground, unable to move, unable to scream over the horror of the presence of the darkest evil imaginable. Then I woke up and felt frozen and with all my strength rolled over, and if you can roll over your gold, its over.
Over time the demonic attacks wore me out and I wanted to die. In my torment I went into the wilderness on some mountain with no-one around and I prayed out loud in tears to God for hours. I said if God saves, then save me. I'm gay and thought I was destined to burn in hell, but despite all that I woke up the next day and every worry and fear was literally gone in an instant.
Every bad feeling replaced with overwhelming joy and content. God's Spirit in Jesus entered me. I finally surrendered to God and acknowledged the truth. The truth being that God became a human as Jesus to die for all sin, and because of that death is conquered the battle is won.
This feeling of grace and peace was like a shield around me and it lasted for months, but as is the way we are human, we sin, and eventually I felt the Spirit draw distant. Not that I'm no longer saved, but God had to intervene or else the devil would have had me killed.
In the name of Jesus I told the demons to leave and never come back and that's exactly what happened.
Evil has no power other than what we give it, the only real power in existence is that of God.
Yes sleep paralysis happens it can also be scientifically proven, I'm not at all denying that.
Rather I'm saying Satan extorts this weakness and frail state of people to wreak havoc on us. Even more so if you are actively trying to seek out God.
Scientists believe what you want, I know what I saw, and the enemy wants me dead for my witness.
It's like when someone's getting murdered and you catch them but try to run away, and they want you dead because your witness could testify against them.... that's the relationship I have with the devil. I had to learn how to fight real evil, like something out of Harry Potter, and in the process realized that God was fighting for me, He saved me, just like they say He does.
I'm shocked over how much evil I saw, but I guess these demonic spirits thought they could reveal themselves to me because I already know about God and evil.
A demon for example wouldn't want to be so blunt to someone who doesn't even know God exists. Because if a demon showed itself to a non-believer that person would realize if Satan is real, God must be real too therefore look into how to get saved.
To the remnant of the genuine true God's people beware: You're a target! All this video does is help the people sleep at night who are oblivious to the reality of our existence. Sleep on.

For 20 years you've had sleep paralysis episodes, wow mine only lasted less than a year. If you've had a particularly stressful day or you're extremely tired try sleeping on your side sometimes. When the body lays flat you're even more relaxed which can help induce sleep paralysis if you're prone to it. Sleep paralysis itself is due to absolute exhaustion and losing sleep while experiencing extreme turmoil/anxiety those are the things that create the perfect recipe for sleep paralysis to occur.
If you've had this that long it could be worth seeing a doctor about it. But the most powerful thing you can do is pray to God for protection. Sleep paralysis is an easy door for demonic attacks and if the devil thinks you're one of the chosen then you will be a target. Depending on what you know, like if you're personal witness of God is helping others to see the truth then every effort will probably be made to wipe you off the face of the earth. This is where discernment and wisdom must be played, you must acknowledge and live by the only real power in existence which is that of God. The second you acknowledge that demons have no authority over your life you disempower them, the truth is that the battle is already won.
There's a lot you can do to help yourself; any activity that makes you feel calm, such as being in nature, you could listen to one of those quiet frequency chakra activation videos to clear your head. When the mind is sick the body is sick, so cleanse your thoughts. Ask God for guidance and will be given to you, just look for the signs.
I connect with animals for example; I get signs and warnings from birds. When I see eagles and hawks I usually know I'm headed into a battle of some sort and it gives me time to anticipate and gather myself. I'll ask God for signs even when I'm driving to work and then all the sudden a truck will appear in front of me with the phrase "have strength" or something. I use to experience sleep paralysis but it was just God testing me to prepare me for what I would endure after that. These days real satanic witches plot and scheme my literal death, the other month I was under some kind of demonic attack it was like I was like spellwork being sent to me from someone. I had this dream and I saw a baby beaver and the beaver transformed right in front of me into this 8 foot tall furry human like demon. It was tormenting me and it wanted me dead, so from time to time I still do get attacked I just don't have sleep paralysis anymore I overcame that with God's help.
Anyways I prayed every day for the help of angels to be in my workplace where this witch is, I was sitting in my car on my break and asking God for a sign that I was being protected and a coyote appeared in front of my car looked at me then disappeared into the trees. The next day when I came to work I was looking for another sign and right before I pulled in, this massive truck had a huge coyote painted on the whole side.
It was an angel, my protector disguised as an animal. God is at work, don't be spiritually asleep, call on the Lord for help and you will be helped.

I was trying to ask my mom to help me but no words came out. The really scary thing was my face was facing the back of the couch. I could barely breathe because of how much my face was buried into the couch. I also felt someone there not like an actual person it’s hard to explain. Luckily it stopped and I just didn’t know what to do. I’ve had it a couple of times and when it does I try my best just to be calm and wait it out. Recently I’ve gotten dreams where I can’t talk/scream and I read a thing where it could be a sign of sleep paralysis or light sleeping. I hate not being able to talk in my dreams.

i just find it very interesting that Sleep Paralysis has became so popular now. When i first started getting it around 2012-2013 i remember googling it and there really wasnt that much information and I never heard or seen anyone talk about it before. But now everyone knows what it is and ive seen so many memes about it.

I’ve been suffering with sp for years and years. Now I’m not sure if I’ve commented on this one before, or another one - but I turn my sp hallucinations in to Lucid Dreaming. I know a lot of people think that the entities are real, but they’re not. And I know they’re not real for 💯 because when I hallucinate scary demons, I turn them in to anything else I think about, and they disappear. If the demons were real they would still be there when I think of something else, but the fact they go, tells me it’s all what your mind creates.
Now when I start thinking of something else when I see dark demons, I then automatically see the person(s) who I’m thinking of,& it’s a beautiful experience..
I think it’s such a gift to have if you are experienced enough to turn it in to something else (and without panic) which you learn overtime.
This happens to a lot of people over the world, and the reason they always fear the worse, is cos they don’t understand how to turn something ugly in to something beautiful. And when you’ve mastered that without panic, you’ll gladly welcome your lucid dreaming ❤❤

My sister has a radio in her bedroom and our bedrooms are connected and I can always here her singing.
Every night when everyone is asleep I hear someone else sing. It sounds like a little girl and I haven't told anyone.
I also see things like a dark tall silhouette of a man

How to help sleep paralysis or help to wake up from it,
I’ve been able to move my small fingers and some toes, and after I wiggle them 10 secs
And eventually my arms and legs follow suit and I wake up,
    It’s scary I’ve had it 4 Times it’s Scary.
    P.S.
The first time I was having a dream Sitting on my Back and started to enter Sleep Paralysis
And started not to be able to move it was bright and sunny outside so there weren’t any scary demons or aliens
But I could see my eyes were stuck close so I couldn’t see or couldn’t move and started to freak out,
Then my Tongue started To choke me and I woke up! Thankfully.
The second time I had it and immediately knew it was and read that you can move your small fingers and toes
So I stayed calm and started doing it and woke up, but then 3 mins later I started to sleep again and FOR THE 3RD time
I was staring at a computer screen and it started slowly spinning,
I stayed calm but when it’s kept getting faster and faster I started to freak out, then the screen kept spinning but
Got smaller. And everything went black, eventually I woke up and stayed up long enough for my body to fall asleep on its own.
Last night I had it again and I couldn’t move my body or Head or mouth and my eyes, were partially open and so was my mouth
But I noticed I could move my arms and grabbed my face which I could feel me grabbing and eventually woke up,
Not as Bad as the 3rd time but it was really scary.

I experience SP on a nightly basis starting at the age of 20 now 25 and I've experienced all 3 forms of Sleep Paralysis experiences named in the video. The out of body sensation is always the most interesting one. Sometimes I'm floating around my room and see myself lying there or sometimes as I fall asleep and I feel sleep paralysis about to hit, I sometimes choose just to let it happen rather than stop it and that's when I have the most interesting experiences such as those being mentioned in the video about comparing what being on LSD is also like. I would see floating patterns, colors, various cartoon like characters walking or running around me or sometimes I'm floating around at high speed around my town except that all the stores and people are dramatically different. My heart beat also goes really fast during these episodes because I'm afraid of heights and when I'm having this out of body experience, I can't control myself because my "spirit" floats higher and higher and I can't stop it. These experiences always happen after I go to sleep and sleep paralysis takes it's effect on my mind and body.

I've had sleep paralysis several times but without the scary hallucinations (I've also had it with scary hallucinations, but that's a different story). The most memorable paralysis experience took place on a sunny Saturday afternoon. I was laying on the sofa in the living room with the sun shining through. I had been reading and fell asleep. Then I "woke up" and tried to raise up off the sofa, but I couldn't. It felt like I was straining every muscle to move. I dont' remember falling back asleep, but I also don't remember when/how it stopped.

i have experienced sleep paralysis twice in one week one time i woke up without being able to move and i felt the start of being panicked. the scary part were the hypnopompic hallucination that came with it i heard loud whispers like ghosts doing some ritualized chanting and the thing that made me loose my shit was that my right shoulder started to shake without me doing anything, it was like i was a sacrifice.
The next was when i fell asleep in a weird position and i woke up not being able to move and i heard pantings beside my ear and felt someone hugging me like a sex crazed rapist that doesnt care about anything but i let everything happen as i knew this was similar and was curious how long this hallucination would go on for and i could end it myself and gain true consciousness.

First time I had this I had just come home from a month in Asia so my sleep pattern was really messed up. I woke up to a loud noise in my ears, feeling like something was in my room watching me, tremendous pressure on my chest which made it hard to breathe, and I couldn't move or open my eyes. I was flipping out. when It lifted, I jumped out of my bed trying to catch my breath. I've never even so terrified in my life. It happened a few more times over a month period after my trip. Every summer after I came back from a long trip abroad, I'd have this issue. I still get it every so often but I feel like I've mastered the issue. I know what's about to happen and just let it happen and stay calm. Sometimes I get the sensation im levitating out of my bed. Again, I stay calm and know it's nothing bad and its in my head and will be over soon. Key is to stay calm.

I’ve actually experienced this a few times in my life, including last night. I “woke up” last night but couldn’t move. Was sleeping on my back. I was feeling a little bit scared/terrified, but because i’ve heard of this phenomenon in recent years, I recognized what it was. There were noises in my bedroom, not exactly sure what it was, but felt like something/someone was at the door trying to get in. I was on my back, eyes closed, couldn’t move a muscle. BUT my wife was sleeping next to me. We have two dogs. And a cat. A daughter. And I’m pretty sure it was the cat making the noises as sometimes she scratches the door to get in. I wasn’t sure though. I decided to just relax. I didn’t fight it and didn’t give any great effort to try and move. I pretended i was sleeping actually thinking if some entity is in the room, i’ll just pretend I don’t know it’s there and it’ll probably go away. Seemed to work. I drifted off to sleep soon after. Wasn’t an overall negative experience, more interesting. BUT, if i lived alone, and didn’t know what this was i would probably be terrified. I think once or twice when i was younger and did live alone this happened, and was much more frightened.

I could see and feel his chest moving up and down, and I felt his eyes on me. The bed sheets were around my neck and felt like they were getting pulled tighter by him. I couldn’t speak but kept pleading in my head and apologising. There was a moment when I couldn’t breathe and thought I was going to die. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.

I sort of felt like I just woke up and I vaguely saw the door open with next to no sound, then I heard small fast footstep like sounds as what seemed like a small human silhouette entered my room and quickly passed right by me. 2-3 seconds of nothing happening passed by and then I felt heavy vibrations and heard humming and scratching sounds accompanied with a panic like fear. I then wake up almost 2 hours earlier to when I usually would.
In total, it felt like it lasted 20 seconds at most so it was a very short experience and I’m not entirely sure if I was truly paralyzed or if I was just too afraid to try and move

I couldn’t breathe, yet was not panicking. Then, I’d heard my Dad speaking to me, but it was extremely hushed, like he was taking very softly through a pillow. Then, I’d descended into a fairly average dream. Then I woke up for real. Now I’m reading stories about sleep paralysis demons, & now I’m going to be constantly muttering “In the name of Jesus Christ, begone with you!” as I fall asleep.

I believe I’ve had sleep paralysis more than once. On November 30th of last year, I remember sleeping in my basement on my couch because of a Christmas party and I remember waking up and not being able to move, only for a shadow to appear above me, staring at me as bloodcurdling screams begin to rise in volume, soon becoming enough for me to jolt awake. If my friends weren’t sleeping in my basement that night, I’d probably be a lot more terrified. But, that wasn’t the worst I’ve experienced. I remember having a dream about playing an arcade game a few years back where everything was red and there was an 8-bit person who began talking to me. At first, I didn’t think much of the dream, it didn’t scare me and was really pretty normal, only for me to wake up and see a CLOWN at the end of my bed and begin laughing at a deafening volume. I don’t think I’ve ever been so scared after waking up. I also had times where sleep paralysis wasn’t entirely bad, like one time, when I was really young, I remember a statue of Superman that started talking to me, only for me to wake up. To be honest, sleep paralysis is rare, but whenever it does happen, it’s a memory that will stick with you.

I had this problem as a child. It happened several times a week. Weirdly I thought it was less likely to happen if I slept on my back. The 'scary stuff' happened from above, so I felt it was best not to turn away from it to allow it to creep up on me. I would feel that I was floating towards the ceiling, I would see the ceiling coming closer and closer. Then I would feel a presence there with me. It was so frightening. Sometimes we would be together up in the dark loft, I would be unable to move or scream. This was the part that was so absolutely terrifying. I'm still feel uncomfortable going into a loft because of it. Occasionally I would float downstairs and see my parents watching TV. It lasted a year or two, I was very young, I guess just as I started to understand reality. I am 53 years old now and it is still ingrained in my memory…
It’s strange but I remember the exact moment when it all stopped. One morning (I was looking into the fridge) and just realised that I was now above it, too old for it. I was now in charge.. I knew I was over it. From that day on I never had the experience again.

Everybody Gangsta till the human figure in your room starts moving and you can't move any part of your body except close your eyes. So you proceed to close your eyes then open them a few seconds later and it's still there and then you're able to move your body again but the human figure still is there so you scream and your dad comes in 15.39 seconds later because he's panicking and when he comes in he turned the light on and asks "WHAT HAPPENED!" looking horrified and you explain what happend. Then your dad understands and invites you to sleep on the couches with Him ( not in the same couch). So then whilst you're on your phone because you couldnt sleep after that, Occasionally you would peer into the hallway where your siblings toy is at and the reflection of something else on the wall makes it seem like another human figure. You proceed to place your phone down and try an sleep but that figure keeps making you open your eyes to see if it moved. Then after starring at it once for about 10 seconds you're unable to move your body again and the figure comes alive and walks towards you all you remember is closing your eyes....

I know he mentions it only happens at a few minutes a time.. but has anyone else had much longer experiences?
I've had sleep paralysis for a number of years and on atleast a dozen occasions I'll experience sleep paralysis, somehow manage to wake myself up (I feel I manage because I've been dealing with sleep paralysis for a long time and someone know how to eventually wake myself up), be terrified but fall straight back to sleep, experience sleep paralysis, wake up, be terrified and fall back asleep CONTINUOUSLY.
Last night I had atleast 5 hours worth of broken sleep and I'm exhausted. On one particular occasion about a year ago this happened throughout the entire night and I got up at 6am feeling so tired and frightened by what happened.
I usually get it when I'm falling asleep and know I'm about to get it because it feels like my entire body and head is intensely vibrating.
It's draining and terrifying. When I speak to people about it they either look at me like I'm crazy or they say they've experienced it before. I just feel like my sleep paralysis is so much worse than anyone describes ☹️
Surely there is someone out there??

Just to put this out there. You have never experienced true fear until sleep paralysis hits you.

How did you get yourself in a lucid dream?

It was so common as a kid, i could make it happen. It was terrifying at first but became a game when i learned to break free of it. No out of body or intruders, just hearing my mom working in the kitchen, cartoons from the living room, smelling breakfast, and not being able to do anything about it. All i had to do was wake up but not get out of bed. A long, full body stretch and close my eyes again and it would happen. I learned to calm my breathing and think about a sudden spasm until my entire body tingled (adrenaline? Chi?) and when i was ready, BOOM! awake. It was very similar to sitting next to someone you want to jump-scare. Think of doing it, even start a countdown, but as soon as you get done counting, resist the urge to jump, but keep thinking about it until your skin tingles, then release. Thats how i wake up. I think i got bored with it in my 20s because i no longer "make it happen" and its now down to MAYBE once or twice a year.

3 days ago i had one. I was basically in a xbox party with my a friend, we weren’t talking tho which was weird. I remember a old friend joined that i haven’t talked to in years now. He mumbled hello like 6 times. It was almost like he knew i couldn’t answer so he kept saying hello. Then after that i woke up.
The second time was 10x weirder. It happened today. Basically my brother and i smoke weed. In the dream my brother had passed me the blunt . I hit it a bit of times then i dose off on my own dream . When i dosed off i knew i was dreaming but i couldn’t talk or move or nothing . It felt scary even though nothing scary happened. I then woke up by my parents scream.
