- Hi everyone and welcome to my channel, today I'll restore a little antique German bisque doll. She was broken and reglued but is missing arms, legs and a half of the head. Hope you'll enjoy watching me bringing her back to life!

Actually a “trousseau “ is the bridal gown and accompanying clothing for a bride. Unless a bridal gown was there I didn’t see!!
But I totally agree I was surprised as well there was clothing and a complete set of dishes and hats. An awesome gift!!

Watching this was literally like you are the epitome of what I’ve always loved and the only thing I want to say is that your work reminded me of Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres’s Madame Moitessier - DETAIL PERFECT . It’s not just the conclusion of your meticulously “fit for Royalty” work , but the immense circumference of the heart of your practice which is jaw droppingly well executed . Looooove watching this on my 80” flatscreen TV - as I said - detail perfect !! ❤

I just did a rudimentary restoration of a 34" Japanese Murimo ?? Brothers Doll. She was so tall! and gorgeous with ropes inside of her. I wish that I had watched this video before I started on her, things would have gone better.
Not only she restored the doll, she made a whole playset to come along!! I’m amazed

I've seen some doll restorations before, but no one who's gone the extra mile and made such elaborate clothes and accessories for them. You not only restore the doll, but everything that is sweet and fun about them. I just found your channel a few days ago and am so glad I did! I love your videos.

You deserve an oscar, i don't have enough words to say how absolutely amazing this content is, from footage to lights to sound to actual restoring to editing to uploading! There is not one false note in this video, even the clothes you are wearing are consistent throughout the whole process which I'm sure lasted over a long period of time. BRAVO IRENE
Oh my gosh at 17:30 when you see her face almost complete, she's so beautiful! I gasped. This is one of the most loving toy restorations I have ever seen. To take such time and care over a single tiny, broken toy...it lifts the heart. May we all be healed with such love, by such a gifted hand. That pink dress takes my breath away.
Dolls legit used to frighten me so badly (since I was a child) until I started watching these videos. Your love goes into these dolls and they emit the genuine warmth and kindness that goes into them. Amazing and lovely to know dolls can be the sweet things they were intended to be and not just the stuff of nightmares! Thank you for helping me mend a phobia.

Если бы мне показали уже отреставрированную куклу , я бы решила, что это музейный экспонат! Наверно в такую игрушку могла бы играть принцесса! Очень красиво! Детали просто поражают! И даже вешалки для платьиц сделали! Просто восторг!!!!

I'm sure if a little girl would see this doll, she would cry and wanted a doll like that. When I saw how gentle you worked at the doll and sewing the dresses, my eyes filled by tears. I remember as a child, I had a teddy bear, that I loved, there were both laugh and tears when the arm tear off. Lovely videos you show us all, thank you for bringing an old memory in my mind.

I had to read through the comments. There is nothing I can say that someone hasn’t already put into words here. My mom is a seamstress and she made our doll clothes. This took me there again. Watching you make every detail, every stitch and the look on your face. I know that look and sense of pure joy and love that goes into what you do. I’m a bit late seeing this for the first time. This made my heart feel good. So much love went into restoring this beautiful little doll. When my mom was a child her family couldn’t afford toys. She would play with the neighbor child’s dolls because she didn’t have any of her own. When she became an adult she began collecting antique dolls. Dolls like from her childhood. Some were in bad shape and she always wanted to have them restored, but never did and now she’s passed. Her dolls brought her so much joy and happiness whether they were beautiful or not. She cherished them. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and love for dolls with us.🥰
