I just got oils from beard octane, let all the guys at work smell them and hands down merica was voted #1 by everyone, I've never liked a cologne type smell before, I was impressed by every oil scent, they're strong enough to smell all day, mild enough to not give me a headache, and makes my beard so soft! Thanks Dan. I have seen this in Bed Bath and Beyond as well as Target. I used to use their body wash which was great and then something changed and it was not so great. Method Men brand is under SCJohnson umbrella and it has been known for ingredients to change for costs savings measures - not saying they would or have done that but it has happened before. I would just check the ingredients each time before I buy it just to be sure and not rely on them being the same as the last time - again, not that they have or will do that.

I use Dollar Shave Club beard oil. It works for me well, and it is not super expensive. I'll consider buying this beard oil in the future. It seems like it works.

Dan, PLEASE do a review of Apex Beard Co. They are absolutely fantastic! They have bird, and non bird oil options. And, their butter is one of the smoothest I've ever tried. I really think you and Sam would love their scents! Especially The Groundskeeper, The Rancher, and The 51. I would love to see you review them, and give your opinion.

I finally figured out what bugs me about the pump tops. They're okay from usability, I just like the minimalistic mechanism free dropper or restrictor. BTW can a dermaroller damage the actual hair (breakage)?

Oh no, I was trying to keep this little gem a secret! I bought 3 bottles on close out at Bed Bath and Beyond. I got them for $1.50/bottle. The only bummer is that I don't think they sell a matching balm or butter. Method Man is now my # 3 on my list of big box/drug store/Amazon beard products. 1. Honest Amish 2. Good Fellow 3. Method Man 4. Bull Dog 5. Brisk. If I didn't already have 2 in reserve, I was going to purchase the 3/$15 from Amazon. Bummer that they have raised the price. Thanks for the review, I couldn't agree more with you.

Sometimes if you see sold by Amazon the original box the three pack came in could have been damaged and they sell it at a discounted price. The company will get reimbursed for the cost of the product too which is nice on amazons part

Wow, I am VERY suprised that it is good! I just looked out of curiosity, the 3 bottles are available from a third party seller, for $50! Also, I thought Method was a Target brand, or maybe Target just carries them.
I have seen the brand in target as well. If it was a target line, it wouldn’t surprise me because they tend to do stuff the right way. Their Goodfellows oil is actually really good! Thick but good

What is the ingredient helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed wax in terms of beard oil? I saw “wax” on the screen and looked up the company. Good review.
Pretty much the same situation as jojoba. Technically considered a liquid wax

What do you mean by thicker?

I have not used the oil but about a month before i shaved my shaved my head I started using Method Men shampoo. It was pretty good!
Btw you said "Sunflower Oil" in the review but on screen you put "sunflower seed wax"!!! So which was it cause I know you aren't recommending an oil with wax in it 🤣
Let me hit you with this: The majority of the oils YOU use have wax in them… jojoba is a liquid wax. Same thing for sunflower oil, it’s technically a wax. But both act like an oil so we treat them as oils

I'm going to pass on this one. I just threw away some of their deodorant because I used it twice and both times wound up with a boil under my arm.
It’s likely due to an allergy you have to an ingredient, rather than the quality of the product. I haven’t looked into their deodorant at all, but armpits are some of the most sensitive spots on our body. Reactions are common, especially if it’s a natural deodorant. I actually do not wear natural deodorant for that exact reason.

From what I can find, it’s sold at target but is not a target brand. Founded and owned by eric ryan and adam lowry. The target brand of beard oil is “good fellows”
