It's just weird to hear an American talk about Greggs and Newcastle.
Lol. Ikr
Anoo
What's weird are all the thin people
Exactly

The festive bake Greggs do at Christmas is literally the only thing that gets me though the year
Here here, I work in Greggs, too 🙈

Bloody love a good Steak Bake, Newcastle is the Greggs capital of the world
Eyyyyyy Patterrz!
A good steak bake? Then buy it somewhere other than Greggs.
America is missing out on this!
ResoundGuy sorry is British only not for Americans
@tubetardism 20/20 And you're here saying that american fast food restaurants don't use that stuff?
tubetardism 20/20 it's a question, and what do you mean by "reading comprehension"
tubetardism 20/20 Well I am aspergic on my part so I may of misunderstood a part of it. I apologize for any inconvenience.
tubetardism 20/20 and you my dude!
there is a local bakery/pasty chain near me that has a couple of stores called Pound Bakery (never heard of it outside of where I live and I have only ever seen 2 stores one of which closed a few weeks ago) and it is better than Greggs with CHEAPER food TWO pasties for £1 and all their sandwiches are under £2.50 each with the cheapest options being £1. Go to Greggs and expect to pay at least £1.30 for a SINGLE cheese pasty (at Pound Bakery ALL regular size pasties are 2 for £1 in Greggs the price can vary depending on filling) and that doesn't include motorway or airport branches which are far more expensive
I love pound bakery
Wish I could find a way to watch full episodes of
Greggs: More Than Meats the Pie (2013)
1 SEASON. Anyone know where I can??? Thanks! Xo
how is this `untold truth` the entire video is readily available public information that anyone can find out from a quick google search
Oh I know all to well on the "untold truth" of greggs. The working conditions and food hygiene is terrible. I worked there for 8 years i got fired because I was recording secret footage on the very low hygiene standards.
Since Greggs stopped selling Egg Custard tarts I've stopped going there. Even though I do love their sausage rolls their decision to get rid of many historical classics has upset me.
After the custard tarts disappeared in London I used to be able to get them when I visited Manchester on business.
But then they were eventually pulled from those stores, even though they were big sellers.
My alternative is now the pastel de nata (Portuguese custard tarts) sold in Lidl.
Poor show greggs.
MORE video about businesses outside the US, please!!!!
Lol she is American she probably is wondering what a pastie was!
In America pasties go on boobies
Well, here in the States we have the Michigan style "pasty" which is pretty much the same thing as a UK pastie
It’s so annoying that she’s even talking about this
Clicked on this thinking it was the local restaurant with the same name where I live.
Damn i could really go for a greggs cheese and onion pasty now
I love greggs, I get my breakfast and lunch from them 5 days a week
Someone's got mad stacks 💰
Ugh, love a Greggs.
The number of greggs is not really surprising, there are 3 stores in my town, all within about a 2 mile radius of my home.
2:55 now I know why things that I buy at greggs are not warm
GREGGS CLAN WHERE YOU AT
Used to be 49p for a sausage roll at one time now there £1.10
angel mamma No, they’re still £1 here. Depends on region I guess 🤷♀️
Never heard of it. Is it like pernara ?

Nothing can beat getting it warm
Where is this Corn Wall place and does it actually have a wall made out of corn?

Steak bake and a coffee twice every week.
NORTH OF ENGLAND!?!, I’m SoRrY iS bRitAin jUst England now
SCOTLAND N WALE AsWeLl ya dafty
Greggs ain't pasties. A pasty is from Cornwall alone and to say they are a pasty is a insult to the Cornish food.
Sincerely a Cornish Woman who loves a proper pasty
They're pasties lol, and not all pasties are Cornish pasties. Londoners invented scotch eggs but they don't go mental at the first person to put bacon, black pudding, mushroom etc in them lol, calm down
Sincerely someone from another part of England that doesn't care
Are you gatekeeping food?
@@burntbacn I mean you do know there are certain laws on English food that prevents them being replicated outside of the region from whence they came, right?
@@iCABALi that isn't related at all
I was told by a greggs store manager...that meat and poultry that is used for pasties come on bulk at their factories and sometimes it contains halal and kosher produce
Im an ex muslim but I know all the meat at greggs is haram
Oh and don't get the vegan steak bake its garbage
@@aperson4470 ex Muslim lol
Best thing about greggs is the tuna cucumber stotty
Their bacon roll is to die for. Its always crisp and probably the best on the high street. My local hospital has their second busiest outlet in the country.
They put a miniscule amount of meat in their pastries. It's all sauce and gravy
Service in Greggs to soo slow you would be quicker going home to make something to eat.
I worked in greggs, the working conditions are terrible.
I remember when it used to be called Thurstons.
That was the Thurston Leeds bakery.
Getting employees to take pay cuts is forcing a lot of them into unemployment. imagine you worked your way up to management, You finance for your car your wives car and a mortgage. Pay cuts now we are overpopulated with housing shortages.

luv me greegs, luv me norf
Chicken bake is bootiful
Ma school canteen basically sells everything greggs sells
People in this ad are clearly not eating Greg's food 😂 the hot food is cold and the cold food is stale lol
At last. Someone else that recognises that Greggs is crap.
You clearly didnt watch the whole video. I work at gregs and im not sticking up from them xD
But if youd watch the video youd reaslise the law states unless you want to pay a 20% TAX on the hot bakes, they cant be kept in a hot counter, thats why its sometimes common for pasties and bakes to be cold. It so you pay LESS for the product, if they were kept hot you would have to pay 20% more. I can say from working there that there is nothing more annoying than when someone complains when their food is cold and I have to explain that its not a hot counter.
The average customer of greggs doesnt want to pay more and thats why its not a hot counter
You would think that the Conservative government would want to celebrate the likes of Greggs for being an economic success story.
Maybe not posh enough for some Tory MPs, either that or the fact they aren't really making any money out of them.
Something about England??
HALLELUJAH!
north of England? everyone i know eats from greggs on a daily on the way to work and i live in the far south
Its a lot bigger in the North than anywhere else in England
Sorry to hear it sweet cheeks! Fancy a greggs? 😤😤😤
Tim Horton's has 4613 (as of 2016) stores wordwide.

I have literally never heard of this place
And they do a fabulous coffee at a fair price.. beats the crap from Costa...

To put it simply for any Americans...
Pasties > Burgers
@Can't think of a name How about something more correct.
Pastries = Burgers.
Btw '=' does not mean it is.
I mean they're equally good.
West Country pasties are way better and more filling.
Newcastle
Love the food. Just dont work there lmao trust me
Greggs is the best

Basically a Hot Pocket store
To be honest, the vegan sausage roll doesn't sound too great! The whole idea of a sausage roll is the sausage meat not the vegetable meat.
They said the same thing about the veggie burger and now they have one that is almost EXACTLY like real ground beef .... sasage is not to far behind either
Pound Bakery do a ''Meat Free'' roll and honestly doesn't taste that much different than an actual Sausage Roll.
It's delicious
I'm not vegan or vegetarian but I tried the vegan sausage roll about a week after they launched it. It was delicious, just as nice as their regular sausage roll. Wouldn't have known it was vegan if they hadn't told me.
As someone who was born and raised in the Netherlands I gotta admit that I hate British sausage rolls. I think the Dutch do it a lot more justice. Still love Greggs tho😂
Too bad their sausage rolls have gone down hill over the years.

man why does eating greggs so gross ?!....
All you need to know about Piers Morgan is that he stormed off the set on Good Morning Britain in the huff with about a co-presenter who had dared to air his own opinion which was exact opposite of Piers.😠😡
Subsequently the man-child, attention seeking Morgan ended up losing his job after behaving like a spoiled school brat.😠😡
Americans should not talk about Greggs. You know nothing.
Omg as a British person it’s so damn annoying to hear an American talk about this
