It's because he has been trying to be a character too many times and just comes off as cringe.
He's a respectful and disciplined ATHLETE, which is great, and everyone knows that's who he is.
So when he tries to act "gangster" or street, it's just disingeuous.
People don't like people when they act FAKE, or act in a way they're clearly NOT.
He should have leaned into just being that Dominant Disciplined Superior Athlete and people would have liked him better sooner.
He's one of the guys who thinks he has to talk trash to sell fights, but he can't talk trash, it's just not his style so.

It was a good interview and the way I see it, when you become champ in the ufc, your always a champion bc it’s so incredibly difficult to do since anything can happen at anytime as we’ve just witnessed in Usmans last fight… I also love Leon Edwards and his story and how he became champ. It’s pretty much a Cinderella story and it’s just amazing. I can’t wait till their rematch happens but no matter who wins it both these guys got my respect and no one can ever take their champ status from them.

I like how Usman finally understands what Woodley meant by the weight of being champion. I remember when he went on Rogan and kind of said he doesn’t feel what he felt when he first won the title. However, he put up with the weight way better than Woolley.

I’m going to keep it a buck. I’m a big fan of Andrew. I like how he’s interviewing these fighters as a fan, but he actually does his background work. The MMA community def needs a setup like this. I just want to say, I was the only one in the youtube comments saying that Kamaru needs to be the next black panther. It made so much sense to me. I saw Black Panther tonight and I was like, THAT'S KAMARU!!!! Somebody else apparently also felt he needed to be in the movie. I still think he should have been the de Bleck Pantha though. But it was amazing to see him in the movie. I wish he had a prominent, fighting role in the movie though.
