Facial feature almost the same, with difference in light. The original has NEON light while the OEM has blue light only.
Functions are also the same, with OEM almost function as original.

I own the real thing, and its a killer timepiece. Worn it for a few years now 24 x 7, and it still looks new. Japan movement, shipped from Hong Kong. Precise hand movement and alignment with all indices. Perfect.

MyGod..did you still believe that called OEM is from original from casio company?real stupid..you all just watching youtube without your oem gshock in your hand...i've been selling oem gshock for 2 years..im so confident about oem xplain to all my customer that most of the parts are original..but i got it wrong..after a year,my customer asking were they should buy a new strap?1 year life span for strap only and got broken?holy crap..even my oem gshock got broken too.about the mechanism,its all to far from the authentic,even the size of the battery,bezel,printing,color and even the buckle not the same size with the replacement strap..so dont be fool what it call OEM..come on man,its 2018 now,(fake,class A,replica,)=OEM word is the newest term for 2018 thats all...sorry for my bad english😂

OEM is not FAKE and must not be used to define or describe a product. It is a type of service manufacturing companies provide for businesses or companies that wants to produce a product, Original Equipment Manufacturer. Like Apple is to iPhone. They design the product and then commissions and giving license to the OEM services provider the rights to produce the iPhone parts for Apple. It’s original, legit. Other manufacturers just copy the final product and cuts cost on their own R&D to make profits out of counterfeiting. Illegal and unsafe for consumers.

Actually, if it's really OEM (not fake), then it will look 100% like the original. The printings on the strap, the colors and the materials won't have any difference from the original. All features will be the same as the original. Things change when you talk about higher end G-Shocks, like models with waveceptor sensors, and I think barometric sensors as well. These sensors usually are missing in OEM G-Shocks at least from what a seller told me. I own an original and an OEM with the exact same model (Bought the OEM out of curiosity), honestly I can't even tell the difference.

Ugg..just found this video. I ordered this watch off amazon the other day and its due to arrive over the weekend. I hope I get the correct one with the better strap and correct lighting.
All casio movements even from the cheapest watch are all made in house in Japan by casio only. Then cased in countries like Thailand, China, Vietnam, etc but still in a casio factory not outsourced to any 3rd party companies. The only possibility for these "OEM" to have in common with the original is probably the external materials like band, plastic case to come from the same outsourced supplier but based on reviews by buyers, its not 100% identical even the external parts quality so Im not buying that OEM branding. In conclusion, OEMs are fake/replica/counterfeit because its impossible for it to have an original casio movement inside. But hey they look almost just as good for cheaper price so people are still willing to buy those.

I think mine (gift) is an OEM (the box has no serial number and certification) (the carved country is Thailand in both back of the watch and the metal on the strap). Been using it for 3 years no prob with the battery (internal parts and all functioning well) but the strap got broken like 1 year ago so I go to store and got replaced it and I'm still using it.

OEM term which means authentic products where Casio outsources to its contract manufacturer to produce . But Here it's a copy so use the term Fake not OEM because O stands for original equipment manufacturers.
But the problem is some sellers are often use that term to lure the buyers 🤔 So we consider that term is associated with fakes specially in the watch case.

They look identical minus the light. The authentic light is UV (not neon) which has a much better effect in the dark than the camera could capture.

I have my original gshock and also tried oem..both analog..oem built is good and if you wear it no one will notice if thats original or oem..i just noticed the difference..when you shake or bump the oem gshock the hands are slightly moving but not affecting the time though, but not like the original even you bump it harder the hands are still intact and not moving.. i think its on the gears..

the materials of some parts i think are from the original... but the other parts are fake. like the Light of this Ga1000. the real one has the luminous & uses blur light to illuminate it. The OEM has i think a Led blue light.

Your statement is correct in a way. OEM products are unbranded and are sold as is or OEM which big companies hire to manufacture their products. Like what Apple, Samsung, etc. does. However, in this case, it is fake. There are no OEM Casio, G-shock and Baby-G because Casio have their own factories.
The term OEM exist, but on Casio's case they don't have an OEM products. It just a marketing strategy or abused term to sell their counterfeit products. Its either orginal or fake.

Just to be clarify on what you said sir. There are no Casio overruns. These OEM watches are fake. Casio would be on the losing end if thousands or hundred of thousand watch parts didn't pass the QC. They should just fire all their employees if that's the case. hehe.
Sellers use the term OEM to deceive people so that they can customers what they have as the same as an original Casio watch even though what they sell are fake watches.
