+Travis Orlando your absolutely right.. ive spent $1500 dollars at a dealer to fix my drive by wire.. they purposely installed this shit on cars in an attempt to make more money.. the throttle cable was by far better. it was extremely basic, reliable, quicker response, and maintenance free.. but yet they drop the cable and replace it with this electronic garbage.. its all about money.. these systems comes with a hosts of electronic, computer, sensor, problems.. at the end of the day you will spend thousands.. there goal is achieved!! i want to get a new car but all the car companies is taking advantage of this oppertunity to complicate there cars and make far more money. well i will be buying older cars then.. i sold my drive by shit car.. it costs to much to maintain

accept for the fact that if your cable is dialed in perfectly the throttle is instant based on actuation and direct connection to your foot, have you ever used a computer? there is something called latency and all electronics suffer from it, unless the enviornment is perfect the electronics wont react the same every single time, but a mechanical connection, if maintain, will be instant every time, i know you can tune reaction and potentiality on the electronic pedal and sensors with the right software but the having your hand on the throttle when reving an engine is essentialy the same as connecting a cable to your foot lever...lol waves travel fast but vehicles and relays and sensors all have something called resistance built in...mechanical is better. obviously IMO to each their own
