After 10 years of having a big, double decker box, juggling my drink cooler and fish catch cooler, Tackle box, etc. I just recently realized I don't really use the giant box so I pulled it out and it changed everything. I didn't also need to carry every lure I own and now I don't have to be a contortionist to reach stuff easily. I had one of the stress free, relaxing, enjoyable fishing days ever. I'm still looking for ways to streamline. I have spent hundreds of dollars on things that didn't work for me, after being influence by other Kayak videos You are giving great advice and I'm sure it will help a lot of people.
great move! we do tent to review a lot of products and get hyped about some, but it is good to just be like, yeah thats fun, but maybe later lol
@@elvisrickey4625 I read a book a few years ago called “Repacking Your Bags”. It deals with how to lighten your load for backpacking, but also as a metaphor on how to simplify your life.
It is a great concept. You should always be repacking your bags and considering the worth of what you are bringing.
All good advice, I am in the process of scaling back what I take out there and liking the minimalist approach.

Keeping it as simple and not getting too much stuff going on is great advice, thanks...Honestly, I think the most horrible thing though about kayak fishing is when nature calls and is screaming at me with urgency. Just don't eat Mexican food the night before your fishing adventure.

I fully agree with your statement about people interested in your rig and sharing their thoughts without me asking, usually starts off positive and as always ends with the why didn't you just buy a boat coment, absolutely annoying

Crescent kayaks are the best for ease of paddling, speed, stability, turning, quality... made here in the USA. A lot of researching helped with finally getting the Crescent LiteTackle and my wife getting the UltraLite. We are set! Alex, one of your videos helped us to find "the best."
