The way he always slightly rams a signpost or crashes the truck whenever he gets somewhere is the most hilarious understated joke.
Josh does this in pretty much every game that allows him to drive any kind of vehicle. It's like Josh never heard of the concept of "brakes." For Josh, it's not time to stop until he hears a "crunch." However, in one of the earlier Hydroneer videos Josh made, he actually stopped once without hearing the "crunch" first!

I'm pretty sure there are a number of devs who "outsource" QC to guys like Josh. It seems that playing games like a total sociopath exposes a hell of a lot of bugs to be patched, and all it costs them is a license key to get all that free advertising! Sounds like damned smart software development and marketing to me.

As a dev myself: how do you even make a game that breaks this spectacularly on the regular? How does "shopping cart" directly lead to "supersonic nuke"?

My theory on why these carts take off is because based on what happened with the pallets and pipes from the last shoplifting adventure is that these pallets glue whatever's on them to them but in the case where say two pallets intersect results in them trying to glue each other to one another thus dragging them around because they're in some sort of logic loop where they're both trying to stick to one another yet they cant because they're clipped inside one another in this case when the pallet was put on the cart and moved and then released the pallet is essentially trying to put the cart on top of itself resulting in them being sent flying it dosent work when there isn't anything on the pallet Because its not active persae it needs to be active by having something cause it to stick the movement the player causes results in the clipping and then launching because of what I mentioned previously this is just my theory on why this happens take it with a grain of salt and all that
