Chase Watch Corp. Baby Vintage Chronograph Valjoux 69 c. 1940s

A fine vintage Chase Watch Corp. in Staybrite steel, crafted during the 1940s. A charming little watch that holds a remarkably small Valjoux chronograph movement, pictured next to a nickel coin. The 26.5mm round case with oversized notched crown and two pushers houses a patina’d dial with Arabic numerals covered by the 2-registers seconds and minute recorder, and outer tachymeter scale flanked by a minute track. The new canvas army green strap may be alternated with an adjustable steel bracelet depending on your outfit of the day.
