thank you! i have been looking for a review/walkthrough of the 20L version for days and everyone wants to focus on the 28L and just casually mention there's a 20L without ever showing or talking about it. you also sold me on the high coast pocket from your review on it

Thanks for your video, I like your style. I own the Räven 20 and have used it intensively for over three years now. Like every item I purchased from Fjällräven, it just stay to be in almost mint condition, very happy with it!
I will look for more of your reviews. Regards from Spain.

Would you recommend the 20 for a day hike ? I’ve read differing opinions but you seem to know what you’re talking about ! Cheers

I've used mine for day hikes and it was fine. There is undoubtedly better out there, but as a multipurpose pack it's great!
It's obviously not massive but for a modest hike there's room for 2 water bottles on the outside of the bag, then plenty of room for snacks, maps, first aid kit, spare socks, waterproof, battery pack, camera... whatever you take on your day hikes.
Comfort-wise the straps are nicely padded, but it has no chest strap or hip belt so it'll move about on your back, and it's quite short so for tall people it might rub a bit on the small of their back. And it's sweaty!
I find the compartments practical, I like its sturdiness, and it's comfortable enough.
