One of the biggest acts of cowardice I ever seen. I spent a lot of time in Omagh during the troubles and I feel connected to the place. My profile pic was actually taken in St Lucia Barracks in Omagh. I lost count how many times I walked that very street. When that bomb when off my heart sank into my stomach. Us soldiers can understand why many didn't like us there, I really do get it, but that didn't stop us from feeling compassion for the people who were murdered that day. I can only hope they all rest in peace. And yet again ATL, thank you so much for sharing this.
I can remember where I was when the bomb exploded...may all the victims rest in eternal peace 🙏💚🇮🇪
Brilliantly acted documentary... I can't even imagine the the, confusion, horror & heartbreak those people must have suffered... I also remember this bombing in complete shock & disbelief... And to this day, I cannot understand the mindless insanity behind why such a target was chosen.. Supposedly, those who perpetrated this attack opposed the Good Friday Agreement, and wanted to carry on their war against the Security Forces and the British... But the bomb wasn't placed or detonated near a Police or Military installation... These were just defenseless souls going about everyday life, whom had no reason to think such cruelty would befall them.. Thank you so much for posting such a powerful film

I was at home when this happened my da started panicking like mad cause his mum and dad use to go to omagh every Sunday to do some shopping thank fully they didn't go that day but god rest all their souls it was a horrible day for Irish history to put with many more unfortunately 😢love the channel though

I served in Omagh in 75/76 and made some really good friends, I can remember when the news broke there was a lot of phone calls checking up on people.

How hard is it after all these years to correctly put 31 in the title?
It's not hard friend it is just not correct. 29 people died. 2 unborn babies also perished yes but they were not yet born hence the difference. I was going to put 2 unborn babies in the title but I only get so many characters to explain a video.

If you mean the Republican movement can't win ,they seem to be doing not to bad ,a war is fought in many ways ,and the last time I looked ,there the biggest party in Ireland ,run Belfast and Deryy councils ,its just a matter of time and there's no need for people to die or rot in gaol when they can do it through votes, and like loyalism there's different kinds of Republicans
